Sport I'm cutting out all dairy

Sport Fitness
I've been gettting really bad milk allergies lately, ranging from diarrhea, constipation , cramps , stomach bloats and lot of gas.

I'm ganna substitute Milk /w soy milk. However, I need some suggestion for late night snack. Since I can't have cottage cheese , what would be good? Whey won't work since it's fast digestion.

Having small slices of cheese (American/Cheddar) doesn't do much to my body so that would be fine.

yup no more dairy until my body can handle it again.

Be careful with soya milk. Apart from the fact that it's a highly processed food, plant oestrogens are not very good for male hormone balance. Many people develop soya alergy or intolerance very quickly as well (I'm one of those people)

I found that reduced lactose milk is the best. It doesn't give me any problems normal milk does. Now that my stomach is not irritated I can also have cottage cheese once a week without too many complications.

fack.

another problem to face. reduced lactose milk.....I guess I'm ganna have to drive like an extra 10 miles to find milk like this.

Sorry.:(

Just thought you should have all the information. I have copied one of Evolution posts below.
---------------------------
Originally soy was not meant to be eaten. Soy should only be consumed really when it is fermented.

That is the Poisonous Plant Database, in which soy has 288 listings.

The soy industry has done a wonderful job in passing soy off as a health food miracle but this is because the soy industry makes a ton of money from pushing this.

If you guys/gals are interested, there is a really good book called The Whole Soy Story.

----------------------------
I believe this as I developed bad soya alergy after 3 months of drinking soya milk and eating tofu.

On the positive side, reduced lactose milk I buy also comes in long life packs that can be stored outside the fridge for few months so you can buy in bulk maybe once every few months.

I too would try lactose free milk first, or, that OTC medication Lact-aid

around here, all but the tiniest grocery stores carry at least one kind of lactose free milk.

My mum is allergic to dairy.
She drinks goats milk and eats goats cheese instead.

Personaly I hate goats milk, but the goats cheese is great melted on toast, or chopped up on a salad. Its very stong, but its a nice natural alternative to fake and processed stuff.

is skim milk still OK when cutting?

I'd actually suggest it.

The body doesn't seem to absorb calcium from artificial sources so well. Keeping in whole foods on a cut, to include things like beef, peanut butter, dairy, and so on, can be very beneficial.

i disagree, while some may say that milk is not a good food to intake while cutting because of various reasons, how come then the dairy association of America recommends 2-3 servings of dairy a day?

I'm not saying that skim milk should or shouldn't be consumed when cutting...

but the Dairy Association of America is obviously going to tell people to drink more milk... they would never publish any studies against their product.

skim milk does have more carbs than protein, and depending on how you personally respond to carbs, especially when cutting, will matter whether milk should be avoided when on a cut or not.

lol no no i know that u werent saying that, as i was typing that post i was having an argument about the same topic with my husband, so i think that part of that conversation got in my post.

i dunno though about marketing against their product, on the one hand i understand what ur saying, but at the same time, its such a huge company, that i dont think they would be putting up false information.
