i've read more than once that you shouldnt eat alot of fruit if you dont exercise (mainly cardio) on a regular basis, because the carbs and fructose from the fruit will be stored as fat. I've been told before that you can eat as much fruit as you like because its a natural sugar, but i dont think your body can distinguish between glucose and fructose, and decide for itself that "its fructose, so im not going to store it as fat, because its natural", or can it? I know what it all boils down to is creating the calorie deficit, by exercising or cutting out food. The only exercise i manage to have time for is chasing around my 1 yr old son and cleaning, but i wouldnt count that as intense cardio. So lately i really havent been eating fruit because i've succumbed to the idea that "sugar is sugar" and there is just way too much sugar in fruit for me to be eating 4 or 5 pieces a day without adequate cardio, does that make sense? lol
