Hi
I'm sure this forum has changed a lot in 10 years and most of the people who were here before have long moved on, but this place was a big help to me when I was 17 years old and wanting to lose weight.
When I last joined (under this same username!
) I was 17, I weighed 157lbs and my goal was 125lbs. I managed to get to 140lbs and I was happy at that.
It's been 10 years 2 months since then. I've had two children (aged 5 & 7) both by c-section (which leaves a lovely mummy belly pooch) and I've married the boyfriend I had when I was last on this forum! (He's my first and only boyfriend but okay). I also now have PCOS. I weigh roughly 187lbs. A whole 30lbs more than when I first joined here!
We are trying to conceive our third child, and have been trying for four years now. I have PCOS which makes it hard to lose weight, and because I weigh too much, I don't ovulate, which means no baby. Big vicious cycle.
I'm here to try once again, and I hope to achieve a goal of around 140-160lbs. I'd be happy with that.
