Sport Fitness
I know its important to eat protein when you want to build muscle but my problem is i rarely eat meat. I only like turkey and chicken. Are the ensure protein drinks acceptable as a protein supplement? I've tried the protein powders and stuff but don't like any of them. Can you guys suggest something...How much protein should i be eating and is okay for it to always be chicken and turkey?

I don't mean to sound harsh but wouldn't it be better just to suck it up and start eating a more varied diet? Who cares if you don't really like stuff, just eat it

You can get your proteins from turkey and chicken, both are complete proteins (they have all the amino acids). You can also get protein from eggs, tuna, fish in general, and even tofu.

Here are some vegetarian protein sources that you might find more appetizing: Tofu and other soy products, beans, lentils and legumes, nuts, seeds and nut butters, quinoa and other whole grains, dairy such as cottage cheese, hard cheeses, yogurt, milk, protein powders and eggs.
Chicken and Turkey are totally fine. If you can add some sort of fish to your diet, you would probably benefit. Even if it is the tinned variety - flavored tuna or salmon.
To find out how much protein you should b eating google protein calculator and you'll find what u r looking for.

Lady / man parts? The posters list above is very nice, but if you are male do not 'over-consume' soy products due to the link between 'high' consumption and increased estrogen production & soy's tendency to interfere with thyroid health. 'High' consumption means just that ... i include a fair amount of soy products in my meals, but i have a very varied diet. varied diets are GREAT. try new things. dont box yourself in

** i didnt include the criticism of processed soy to interfere with protein absorption as the link is tentative at best, well from my research into the lit anyhow ;)
