I'm 14 and trying to get in shape..HELP?

Okay so I'm a 14 year old female. I weigh about 120 lbs and I'm 5'5. I play basketball, but I'm not very good. I have really low stamina compared to everyone else on the team. I need exercises that can help me build muscle but still be flexible because I dance and we have to do splits and things like that. I'm also interested in healthy eating habits and yoga. Also I'm trying out for my school dance team in April. What are stretches that can help prepare me? Thanks so much!
 
Read the 2 stickies I've written in this section, in particular the Young Athletes Development Program thread. It'll teach you exercises to do that will make you stronger while maintaining, if not improving, flexibility. It'll give recommendations about further conditioning work, as well. The 2 threads won't go into too much detail about nutrition, but they'll give you a good starting point.
