Don't diet. Just eat healthy. If you start good habits now, your body will adjust as you get older.
Drink water. Tons. Don't drink a lot of fruit juice, and don't drink regular soda or koolaid!
Eat small portions, but don't starve yourself. Pig out on veggies and fruits, not candy and chips.
Fried food is okay once in a great while. If you eat fast food, get the smallest size possible.
Exercise! Walk everywhere. Take the stairs. Just keep moving.
Love yourself. I know it's hard at that age, but it's so important. Focus on developing an awesome personality, and things will fall in place.
