I had supper an hour ago, and I feel the need to snack so bad. I couldn't even tell you what I want; I want it all!

HELP!!
 
Don't do it!! Go for a walk, pick your nose (just don't eat it!), do something to get your mind off of food. Maybe some jumping jacks?
 
Can't go for a walk, the baby's sleeping:( I'm going to go do some laundry. That should get me through the next 10 minutes.
 
I generally try to have snacks that I can eat my fill of without feeling guilty, ie., blue berries, cherry tomatoes, grapes, etc.

If I really need to stop, and can't get out to walk, I brush my teeth - it helps me feel DONE with eating (not always!) ;)

Also, are you hungry? Where are your calories today? Where are you in your cycle? Have you had enough water?
 
carrot, radishes, a pickle, olives, sugarless gum, natural popcorn, celery, slice up a cuke.....

that's my bag of tricks
 
whats more important, eating junk and feeling like crap or not eating and beating an old crack/junk habit.

food can be a drug, fight your fix! drink water!

dont eat, it will not be worth it and you know it.

go get naked in front of a mirror and tell yourself what would make you happier.
 
I'm starting to feel a little hungry, I've had lots of water. I'm going to drink another big glass, and if I still feel hungry, I've found a rice cake and some grapes :) Yay me for going shopping!

As long as I don't eat my snack too late, I'm ok, right? I'm also trying to keep my hands busy. I did a load of laundry, washed some dishes, and I'm going to check out all the e-tools on the WW site I joined yesterday.

I'm not sure about calories, because I used the WW points thing today. I went a little over my limit for points, but I don't know how that translates into calories.

Shyguy, I don't think my munchies are bad enough to warrant getting naked in front of the mirror :)

I had the munchies really bad tonight too. I think it is because I ate dinner at 4:30 today instead of 6. I made some "good" food ziploc sandwich bags for the fridge. When I need a fix for food I grab one of these. They are full of raw veggies or fruits. Depending if I want something sweet or not, thats what I grab.

Good choice on your grapes and rice cakes. I havent tried rice cakes, they dont look too appetizing.
 
Rice cakes arent' the best, but they are nice and crunchy!

I added up my calories (it took a while, which is why I don't like doing it!) and it came to almost 1400 even. I thought that was pretty good.

I've got the munchies too. I dink Bengal Tiger tea (it's just the name, guys) =-) Which has some sort of cinnamon spice to it. It tastes really good and is caffine and fat free.
 
I don't really like raw veggies, but I could choke down a baby carrot or two...I forgot I have some in the fridge. Actually, that might help a lot because then it would take a long time to eat one:D
 
Hope all went well last night. have a GREAT Day and kepp drinking that WATER:D See the more you drinkthe mopre you have to go potty the less you have to spend time int the kitchen!!!!! It all works out;)
 
I made it to today! After the rice cake (which helped with the crunchy craving) and the grapes (which helped the sweet craving) I didn't touch anything else. I even went to bed a little hungry.:)

It has passed for now...I feel fine. Thanks to all for the encouragement!
 
DQ i had the munchies all day today, i can only fix it by going to the gym and working out as much as i can. Rice cakes sound so good, maybe coz i'd eat anything right now lol!

No munchies today! I didn't even have a normal snack this morning; I was too busy to want anything! Love it when that happens.
