If you were in a band...

What role would you be in if you had to pick one?

Vocals for me...Aaron Lewis (staind), David Draiman (disturbed), Corey Taylor (slipknot), Maynard Keenan (tool), Björn Strid (soilwork).

can you actually scream sing to their songs? great list of artists btw.

i like to sing, and write lyrics.
i am obsessed with male vocals, and song lyrics, and if his voice is amazing
and the song lyrics are unique then i'm sold. women's voices are too shrill for my liking.
i love really unique voices, like Jonathon Davis from KoRn, Gordon Downie from Tragically Hip, sepultura, our lady peace, lamb of god, david bowie, midnight oil, list could go on forever.

For some reason i think E-40's deep voice is orgasmic (rap music) especially his trademark way of saying "Oooh." and his music is awesome to krump and street dance to.

I'm a violinist (or used to be ...) as a violinist we were always seen as the forefront of the orchestra- its the lead violinist who steps onto the stage just before the conductor, its the lead violinist who shakes the hand of the conductor, its the lead violinist who is named at the top of the orchstra list, so thats what I am used to being part of. However, I was never a lead violinist, I was within an orchestra, a supporting artist.

For that reason I think I'd be in the background. I think I'd be some sort of supporter who runs things behind the scenes. Maybe writes the lyrics (if I had that type of skill!) but probably be one of those dress-in-black, never seen or heard grafters.

Think I'd be way too shy to appear as a musician in my own right! I'd love to be the center of attention though, just don't think me being the center of attention could ever make a lasting band!

I'm a singer and I play guitar badly. If I were in a band, I'd almost definitely be the vocalist. A band that would accept me as their guitarist probably isn't a very credible band.

Guitarist/vocal.. though I also like to play the lead guitar, so maybe something like Knopfler in Dire Straits. I would kill for Eddie Vedders voice.

cool, i play violin too. i should show my brother the bit where you said about the violins being the main part. he plays the trumpet and gets angry when i tell him violins are better in an orchestra.
