I understand that artichokes have weight loss benefits. You have to peel away the leaves to get at the heart which is the edible part of the artichoke but you can still save the leaves. Take your left over artichoke leaves and boil them in water to make a tea. I have noticed slightly quicker losses since I started doing this. It doesn't taste the best so you might want to squeeze some lemon in their or mix it with green tea.
