If you are not in the mood to run

If your not in the mood to run HITT one day which I do 3 times a week or more if I feel like it but the reason is that some times im exhausted so I dont feel like running so I just skip that day and do it another. Can you just take away like 200-300 calories for that day or somthing to make it equal to your running calories?
 
I think thats a lil high amount of calorie decrease. On the day i don't do anything i only do about a 50-100 calorie difference from the days i just do HIIT. So yeah i wouldn't deduct more than 100, also i have read great things about eatting a lil more on a rest day as its a great time to get in good for your resting body. So someday i even eat more on a non workout day. I just like to keep my metabolism guessing, but i never take it to low.
 
You could also just take it easy and go on a lower intensity run, in the woods maybe... listen to music, scare away the deer, etc. Can be pretty relaxing, adds variety to your HIIT training and burns the cals as well.
