I was wondering if this plan will work for weight loss

Little bit of backstory. I"m 25 and 300lbs I've started to eat 1200 calorie a day diet and walk about half a mile a day I plan to walk more but it's tough for now. I'll do what I can each day.

Here's the catch. my diet is 1200 calories of whatever I want to eat. I take a century men vitamin pill to get a ton of vitamins in my body since my diet is lacking. I've always taken that pill at least for the past few years since my diet has always been bad and not giving me vitamins.

So I eat about 3 meals a day. usually 1 to 2 servings of bbq chicken and 5 chips or 16 fries and a couple chips. (chips are my side to my meals) keeping each day under 1200 with a one a day mens vitamin pill. and slight exercise, I"m wondering if that would work.
 
You might also consider adding cardio to your routine. Do you add the food you eat into a food counter like My fitness pal
 
I'm going to start walking and jogging as much as I can handle. I also plan to do push ups and sit ups everyday as much as I can handle.

I don't use a calorie counter app but I do it pen and paper or in my head. it's usually all small numbers and I don't snack at all so it makes it really easy. just 400-500 calories for breakfast 400-500 calories for lunch and 400-500 calories for dinner. I am eating "unhealthy" foods though just not much of it but I'm taking a vitamin pill and gives me whatever the food isn't.
