I want to know if I will get results?

So I decided to go along to some exercise classes a work colleague is going to, I'm mostly happy with myself, I'm not looking for major changes like to lose 2 stone or anything. I'm going to 4 classes a week (body pump, spin etc) and instead of eating oven pizzas and crisps all day (averaging around 2400 cals per day), I'm making shepherds pie and lasagna and cutting down on take aways etc (averaging around 1400 cals per day). However I am still eating a lot of carbs and sugar etc. Do you think I would see any changes or would eating the above foods completely ruin the exercise etc?
I'd rather not waste 8 weeks training before I find out for myself, but I'm not into super clean healthy eating so if I could compromise and get some results for some work I'd be delighted. What do you guys think?

There are so many ways on how to lose weight quickly. Some of the ways of losing the extra pounds quickly include drinking a lot of water and eating light healthy meals with herbal supplements.

I'm not looking to lose weight fast.

If you are going to continue to eat things such as shepherds pie and lasagna be careful of the portion size. That's what really takes it overboard with these types of foods. Pizza is fine if you eat only one or two slices and don't add on soda, garlic bread, wings, etc... All that stuff along with too many pieces is what takes the calorie count to one that is not appropriate or conducive to healthy nutrition. If you monitor portion size carefully, drink lots of water (which will help fill you up and not need as much food) and continue with your cardio classes, then you will see a good reduction in weight if you stick with it. Don't expect magic results after a week though :)

If you're making the shepherd's pie etc yourself then that will be a lot healthier and will complement the exercise, but yeah just watch the portion size. Personally I like to think of how the food I eat can help support the exercise I do - e.g. am I getting enough starchy carbs to give me energy, do I get enough protein and vitamins/minerals to recover properly? So I try and focus on fresh ingredients and making as many of my meals from scratch as possible, to help me get the most out of my workouts and reduce excess calories.

I think if you're increasing your activity and making some changes towards a healthier diet, then you should see change over time, hope it goes well! :)
