I can't workout without my Ipod. Music helps me go that extra mile. I want to know what kind if music you listen to during your workouts or what your favorite workout song is. I have a long "running" playlist on my ipod so I have a few favorites. The top ten are:

SexyBack - Justin Timberlake
Footloose - Kenny Loggins
Temperature - Sean Paul
Wild Thing + Push It (remix) - Tone Loc + Salt N Pepa
What Would You Say - Dave Matthews Band
Mr. Brownstone - Guns N' Roses
My Sharona - The Knack
Feel - Matchbox Twenty
Funky Town - Pseudo Echo
Sympathy for the Devil - The Rolling Stones

Okay, apparently this question has already been answered. So, if there are any newbies out there who haven't discussed this, please feel free to respond. :)

it's a very popular topic to discuss - one of these days I'll merge 'em all into one big mondo playlist to end all playlists threads :D

Lose yourself by Eminem. I don't even like eminem, or most rap, but that song is WONDERFUL for working out to.

I have soooo many. I'm very picky about what I listen to when I work out

**Children of Bodom - Warheart
"War is in my heart, death is by my side!"
**Dragonforce - Valley of the Damned
"On the wings of life, by hands of hope.."
**Iron Maiden - Die With Your Boots On
"If you're gonna try? Well, stick around. Gonna cry? Just move along."
**Nightwish - Nightquest
"Enter the realm, don't stay awake, the dreams remain, they only break."
**Tool - Parabola
"This body, this body holding me - feeling eternal all this pain is an illusion."

Yeah I listen to really cheesy music when I work out, lol.

Cheesy? I have "Footloose" on my playlist!

On my current playlist on my IPOD, here is what I have:

Beyonce ft. Shakira "Beautiful Liar"
Beyonce "Greenlight"
Beyonce "Get Me Bodied"
NERD "Fly or Die"
Michael Jackson "Thriller"
Stevie Wonder "Sir Duke"
Stevie Wonder "As"
Jamiroquai "Seven Days In Sunny June"
Incubus "Dig"
Grindhouse Main Theme
Greenday "Holiday"

Thats all I can think of right now (I don't have my Ipod with me at the moment, :)

Some great songs on there, imo. Thriller is an excellent song to do cardio too. It will get ya pumped up right quick when you think you have no more.

Scorpions - Mortal Kombat Theme

Mortal Kombat II - SubZero vs. Scorpion

Empire Records - Money (That's What I Want)

Voodoo People by Prodigy

Mortal Kombat - Final Combat (Techno)

Into Action by Tim Armstrong

Let the Beat Control Your Body by 2 Unlimited

Country Boy

Howdy,

Thought I would add my 2 cents to the topic. As another Texas I agree that it is Country all the Way.

Favorite:

Big and Rich "Blow My Mind", "Big Time", "Rollin"

Trace Adkins "Songs About Me"

anything by Toby Keith.

That's the tops, but anything that has a beat will work.

I have a rather ecclectic taste in music, so here's just a few:

Mudvayne- "Dig"
Interpol- "Narc"
Petshop Boys- "Flamboyant"
Anything by TOOL
A Perfect Circle
Pink- "You and Your Hand"
Amy Winehouse- "Tears Dry on Their Own"
Nelly Furtado (Timbaland)- "Promiscuous"
Kid N Play- "Ain't gonna hurt no body" (Ha! and yes, I dance around my house to this)

-Sheryl

"You're the best, around!" from Karate Kid

It was used in South Park and Futurama when people were training to get better at stuff and it just cracks me up because it is so corny so I love it.

My Nike Plus iPod Playlist

I have a bunch of different stuff on my iPod to work out to. I like to make a new playlist a couple times a month so that working out never gets old.. fresh music helps! Right now this is my playlist:

Ex-Girlfriend- No Doubt
Rodeo- Garth Brooks
Praise You- Fat Boy Slim
...Baby One More Time- Britney Spears
Come Clean- Hilary Duff
Family Affair- Mary J Blige
Higher Ground- Red Hot Chili Peppers
Walk This Way- Aerosmith
Summer Love- Justin Timberlake
Stronger- Britney Spears
Never Again- Kelly Clarkson
Dance, Dance- Fall Out Boy
Bug a Boo- Destiny's Child
Party Like a Rockstar- Shop Boyz
London Bridges- Fergie
Toxic- Britney Spears
What Goes Around..- Justin Timberlake
Beautiful Liar- Beyonce & Shakira
Walking On The Sun- Smashmouth
Oops! I Did It Again- Britney Spears
Miss Murder- AFI
Dirrty- Christina Aguilera
Overprotected- Britney Spears
This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race- Fall Out Boy
What's Golden- Jurassic 5
Bootylicious- Destiny's Child
The Rockafeller Skank- Fat Boy Slim
One Thing Leads to Another- The Fixx
This Is How We Do It- Montell Jordan
Since U Been Gone- Kelly Clarkson
It's Raining Men- Geri Halliwel
I Will Survive- Gloria Gaynor
Miss Independent- Kelly Clarkson

Ok.... I know that's a lot of Britney Spears for one playlist! And TRUST, I am not a fan of the person she has become. BUT.. her music is upbeat, fast, and happy. Plus, I like to think of how she used to look and it is motivational. Fat Boy Slim is also pretty great.
