Hello to everyone who reads this! I join this group to be in team with the people who are going for the same as I do - this way I feel stronger, feel the shoulder - support - even if there no comments or messages.
This is not my first fight with over weight - I started to have problems since I was 17 yo. My weight reached 75 kg (158 cm height) and that time it took soooo long to lose these damn kg and back to the healthy condition - about 54 kg approx. Then from time to time I could gain and lose - but tried not get the 75 kg point.
Three years ago I delivered my son, gain the weight only from 55 to 62 kg during the pregnancy period, but till the end of 2017 I couldn`t cross the 59-60 kg line... In January-March of 2018 I finally get the comfortable weight zone for me in 52 kg, but due to problems with health quickly gained weight to 64 kilograms only since April to July. Alas!
But now I feel much better and have no excuses for not to try again - and then keep the healthy weight stable.
Wish a good luck? strong health and high spirits to my every companion on this great site and to myself! God helps us!

Baby weight and post-baby weigh...I've been there. I'm still there. For me it took over a year before my body felt well enough to exercise.

Thanks for your comment! Yes, sometimes just due to total workload with parent troubles and fatigue absolutely no time to exercise, sleep enough, eat in time - all this has a bad effect on metabolism((

(initial weight - 63.5 kg in the morning)
So, today I decided to start with fasting day - not completely, just mostly on the liquids such as water (2 liters), coffee without sugar (optionally - because I almost didn`t sleep at night), kefir (I make it by myself with special fungus and a whole milk).
I`m sure, I not alone in this - increased stomach, intestinal problems, constant sensation of bloating... In addition - my own issue - edema due to the suffered kidney disease... so, I plan to minimize salt intake too.

(morning weight - 62.9 kg)
...my body is still swollen, so - I can`t let myself any salty food and excess carbohydrates (since 1 gram of carbohydrates retains 4 grams of water)...
That`s why I`m boiling now my hibiscus tea - a huge saucepan, for all day. Now here is extremely hot, so I decided to drink (besides of my normal 2 l of clean water) this magic tea - sour taste quenches thirst better, than any other beverage, has a moderate diuretic effect, has a moderate diuretic effect and so on...
For the breakfast I`ll eat a couple tablespoon (dry) of the steamed oatmeal without sugar or salt with one green apple and drink a glass of kefir.
Then will decide during the day - could be hard-boiled eggs (only whites), fresh chayote, fresh green bell pepper. Meat and other heavy proteins I still escape to consume - again due to my kidney issue...
P.S: besides I take one pill of zinc gluconate per day (to get rid of cravings for sweets).
Have a great day to all)

Am I getting it right that you're just fasting like this for one day? A day long fast is fine but prolonged fasting can be a dangerous thing to do, especially without close medical supervision, but more importantly longer fasts only reduce your weight short-term, without changing your habits, so they tend to lead to yoyoing.

yeah, you did get it right) since today I not only drink - but eat too, as I mentioned above.
I would never fast - since I know, that it leads to inhibition of metabolism.

Ok, I was just confused because the amount of food you mentioned would equal a fast for me.

Just one of my small goals - to reduce the size of the stomach + speed up the metabolism: that`s why I eat now every 2.5 hours but in small portions (200-250 grams or ml);)

lots of small meals actually has no measurable effect on metabolism, and can harm insulin sensitivity making it easier to gain weight.

Since normal volume of the stomach is 300 ml - 200-250 g (ml) - is quite enough portion for an efficient digestion. And total caloric intake of my meals per day - is within normal limits - nourishes the body, but at the same time provides an acceptable calorie deficit to lose weight.

it was not a comment about your calorie intake, only the myth that more frequent meals boost metabolism.

I see based on BMI you are only marginally over weight, but what is your body composition like, as BMI is not a very good way for calculating ideal body-weight ?

View attachment 25651 As I see, you are sure in your righteousness - thus I`m not sure you need my answers) That`s why - I refrain from the argumentation of my point of view. Because, as about me, I have confirmations of the efficiency of fractional nutrition... But I don`t like any kind of confrontation...
I just started this diary to feel support, be surrounded with the people with similar goals, be disciplined and so on...
Peace)
P.S: Nevertheless, worthwhile advice is always welcome) I`m grateful for your attention and time)
