Ok I asked a whgile back about working from home
and was wondering what was real and what cost
money and was a scam? Ok ebay is a great place but
what do you sell when you run out of items that you don't
want? Example I found 8 pairs of size 16 jeans that are too
big for me and they are Gap OldNavy Tommy Hilfiger Faded Glory
I was going to put them into 2 lots of 4 I don't much about
ebay except for buying! Can someone give me some ebay tips?
I so would like to find something I can do at home I have a good
mind and ideals and time (being I am a stay at home mommy of 4)
Thanks Tammy

I've seen people buy things that are on sale, just for the sole purpose of putting them on ebay. I was in the checkout lane last month and a woman bought like 10 dolls, I heard the cashier saying that she couldnt' believe the sale price, and what a good deal it was, and the woman reply'd that she was goign to put them on ebay.

Lol holy crap I wonder if it's the doll my daughter want's
from SANTA and all our stores are out of them!
See thats 1 of those gotta spend money to make money then
and my budget is so extra tight. Thanks Tammy:D

yard sale/auction hounds make out ok but you really have to beat feet every weekend and cover a lot of ground for inventory.

It even comes down to little things like hitting yard sales in the rich neighborhoods first because they generally have the best stuff and cheap cuz they just want it off their property. Never a shortage of earlybirds in rich areas.

Oh I gotcha now took a couple times lol!
The goodwill by my house has a ton of
name brand clothes and lot's of great deals
going on everyday maybe I should go there!
Saturdays are 50% off everything day and
Monday is 99 cent kids clothes day and
I have gottened a ton of named brand clothes
for my kids cheap!Woohoo thanks T2! Tammy

There are lots of things you could probably do besides Ebay too. You are on the edge of Appalachia looks like and crafting is big here. My wife and I have operated a soap-making microbusiness in our spare time for about 6 years. We couldn't quit our day jobs, but it's something we do evenings and weekends for fun. We sell via a website, have some wholesale accounts and exhibit at some festivals in the warm months of the year. I say don't work for somebody else if you can help it. Make your own job.

Also adding to the auction/yard sale thing. Craigslist has tons of stuff for free in the free section, lots of people just givng good things away. Sometimes its crap, but a lot of the time its good, you just gotta look.

Hey guy's thank you bunches for the ideals!
I have been brainstorming,I really don't want
to work for someone been there done that!
I can be creative heck I even thought about
after I lose another 20 lbs maybe try to write
a book but you know how that goes. Thanks again
I will check out the website! Tammy:)

Also you should spend a fair bit of time cruising around Ebay and any other online sale sites, just to get a good idea of what is valuable. Try and get some auction catalogues, find some information on second hand books etc.

I've seen things which seemed like they should be valuable go for $1.00 on ebay, and I've seen things which I would never consider valuable go for big dollars! A computer game I owned years ago (and gave away) was selling for $190.00!

If you can get a good sense of that, you might be able to find bargains at garage sales and other similar events, and resell for profit on Ebay.

There are people who make a living out of it, but I get the impression it takes quite some dedication and hard work. I think it could pay off if you have the time to do it though!

Whatever happens don't sign up for any of those `work from home' scams that turn up in spam email. If it seems like an easy way to make money, it's probably not.

I sell on ebay. But what I do is I make jewelry. I make necklaces with band names and logos on them and sell them on ebay and they usually go for a good price. I make anywhere from 5.99 to 35.00 dollars a necklace. So maybe look into something like that. Go for something that is popular and make like clothes, jewelry, or something like that for it. Wish you luck!!

Ok a question you all have brilliant ideals! On the jewlry
making with the logos, you can't get into trouble can ya?
Example I like Korn (band) and say I made Korn bracelets
thats not a copyright thingy is it?Do you just use letter's
or pictures and if so how lol? I know it might be your secret
but any tips on how to get started would be gr8! Feel free
to private message me on here to if you want. Thanks Tammy.:)

People on freecycle do the same thing - they will get stuff for free on freecycle then sell it on ebay - but those people are pretty much scum of the earth and get found out pretty quickly :D
