i need to lose 10 lbs by dec 21

december 21, 2003 i made a goal to lose 60 lbs in one year.
im 6'4" and now i wieght 230 lbs cuz ive lost 50 lbs.
lt gets harder and harder to lose wieght.
I use the treadmill every other day i use to walk 2 miles and then jog 2 miles.
today i started something new every other night im gonna run an 8 minute mile at 3pm 5pm and 7pm cuz i figure it will keep my basal metabolism elivated for a longer peiod of time. If im wrong please give me a more efficent routine.

all i want to do is lose these 10 lbs by december 21.
any help would be greatly appreciated

ive also started doing situps and it seems to be working cuz ive lost 3 lbs so far.

i ran a 7.5 minute mile on the treadmill but i found that was pushing myself too hard. maybe ill be ready for that pace in a month or so.

i think im gonna do H.I.I.T. in the spring when its warm enough to use the track cuz i get bored on a stationary bike and i cant really do it on a treadmill.

if you've been doing the same exercises for a long time .. switch it up.
trying swimming, or a different exercise machine (elliptical, stair master ect).
make sure u stay on top of ur diet ... as its the main role of weight loss.
good luck :D

i got an olympic wieght set for my birthday managed to lose 10lbs and i gained some noticable muscle mass from wieght lifting now im gonna add some jogging back into my routine to shock my system.

Dude?? Did you make your goal?
yeah I made the goal of 60 lbs in one year. I lost 55 in one year, so I came close. My goal now it to bring my body fat percentage to around 10-15% I have no idea what my BFP is now but I think i have around 30lbs to lose. I also want to increase my muscle mass. I need to go on a DIET  because i still eat like I did when i was fat I just drink absolutely no soda.

you know what is really helpful the SPINNING program... a friend's dad is a coach and everytime they want a player to lose weight they get them on the wheel..

spinning is this workout you do on the cycle... and it is quite good.. i lost weight by running too.. but it didn't seem to work anymore.. and I really don't have it in me to sprint.. so I am on this program now and its working wonders... makes u stronger...

I've tried using the stationary bike but i always get bored with it :( . 10 minutes feels like an hour. The treadmill isnt as boring to me. I like nature so i think i might invest in a cheap mountain bike after the snow melts.

thank you for the advice
