Sport i need some help bulding a better diet..mine sucks

Sport Fitness
breakfast:
tons of coffee w/fake sugar
lots of pineapple and cantelope
sometimes ill have some choc. chip muffin although lately i have been good about not eating that or bagels with butter and cinnimon sugar sometimes ill have half a grapefruit w/some sugar (bad, I know)

then i wont eat till lunch and for lunch ill have like
salad with oliv oil
a bowl of fruit
and maybe a bowl of cereal (kix and kashi mixed w/skim milk)

then before I work out i have a balance bar

then for dinner i have either rice/pasta usually w/chicken and if dinner is gross (i go to boarding school) then i will eat random things like salad fruit and rice
then i have like ice cream or cookies


ok then at night i have like a mini bag or pretzles


i think i eat way too much fruit...its so much sugar
and shoudl i stop drnking coffee? i hear it retains fats


i would like to lose about 20 lbs by sept 7th
im 5'3'' and about 140!:eek:
 
I am a HEAVY coffee drinker (an pay thr price by going to the bathroom--I might as well strap the bathroom on my back, LOL), other than this, this coffee drinking has NOT had ANY negative effects on my fat loss, obviously (the pic next to my name is in the bathroom, after I took a caffiene piss, lol). With that said, it COULD bother someone else, however. Simple sugars, from Fruit, is NOT the SAME as refined sugar--they both effect the body differently and have different molecular makeups. Fruit is fine, as long as your not sensitive to simple sugars (as some people are). Simple sugars tend to give immediate (once digested) energy level increase and raise blood glucose, but at times this is a good thing (like before working out). So eat fruit, it does have its benefits. Ill post additional info later, Cheers, dude. I tend to favor grapefruit, for taste and the specific type of fiber it gives, and its sort of different than the others.

and actually that diet is my new one...i use to eat like crap and im little so i need to watch it cause weight shows on me
also, i want to get a protein shake to help me get toned up
what brand do you suggest?
