I need some energy booster and fat burner.

Going to do a hardcore cut after Christmas.... and whenever I cut my energy levels plummet. I need some kind of energy booster.

Do you know of any good energy boosters?

And is there an energy booster/fat burner that you know of that helps control appetite and works really well?

energy booster: caffine

fat burner: wait until the END of your cut. you may not need it, but if you do, you should hold off til the last 5-10 lbs. don't start your cut by using supps to 'cheat'

Energy Booster: Your self.

Fat Burner: Deficit diet (manipulation of calories), manipulation of nutrients, and hard work through exercise.

Chillen: 8% body fat achieved through no supplements (other than flax and fish oil and Whey powder) or over the counter fat burners (fat burners are all TRASH save your CASH---HEHEHEHE :) )

It can be done........There is no question without any major supps.

HEHEHEHEHEH

ROCK ON!

Thanks for the advice. Why not start out right away though?

I've found some really awesome looking supplements.

This:

and this:

They both contain a herb called Hoodia, that is proven to control hunger. Plus they have advantra Z that makes your body burn 500 more calories per day just by taking it, and it doesn't even have caffeine or any other type of chemical that can give side effects like jitters, increased heart rate, etc.

These seem like the real deal. Can someone take a look and tell me what they think?

I hear what you are saying by the way Chillen, and I agree, but if I can buy something that will help me along.... what's the harm in that?

My energy levels are always so low during my cuts, it's a chore to get up to go to the bathroom even! It's terrible.

RWS.....Im just saying theres ISNT a magic pill over the counter for---fat loss, and save your money......

IMO, and speaking with me, I do not believe, the results I achieved ( in getting to 8% BF) would have been any faster taking an over the counter so called diet fat burner pill. NOTHING replaces hard work and sometimes when some people take these pills they can get a placebo effect when in fact it could be just "normal" progression from training and dieting.

I just dont believe in over the counter fat loss pills.

One of my old Posts come into play:

Diet pills dont work. Save your money and invest time and effort into yourself, and you will be rewarded a thousand times more than the money spent on diet pills:

The Magic Pill:

There is a magic (fat burner) pill:

One walks in their...Magic Pillbox....everyday.

Its you and the body.

And, every time you continue your diet and exercise, you take one pill out of the box toward your goal.

Yes, there is a magic pill. Its you. And, you walk within it everyday.

Chillen
==================================================
An opposite Thought:

A Poison Pillbox

One walks in this Pillbox......everyday.

Every time you make an excuse to not exercise (when scheduled) or inappropriately cheat on the diet, you take one pill from this box against your goal

Yes, there is a poison Pillbox, and you walk in this everyday you make an inappropriate choice when dealing with the natural human impulses of the body.

Answer: Be the Magic Pill.

You can be friend or foe to yourself and sometimes both. Think about it. The truest form of wisdom is learning to deal with yourself.

I have the a vocal HERB and must post a BLURB as Diet Pills DISTURB and stink like a TURD and I must throw them to the fricken CURB; isn't this SUBPERB!

I stand at the Curb at the BRINK of this STINK and THINK of flowers of PINK because I saw diet pills SHRINK in STINK!

Anyway, its your choice young man. I would spend more time in learning and studying weight training techniques and various diet techniques, and learning to apply them, then looking for a magic extra push. Because in the end of things, and when all the smoke clears......it boils down to this.

But this is just me

Best regards,

How much do you have to cut? Fat burners really are best saved for the last 5 - 10 pounds, otherwise they don't help enough to justify the money.

If you want to "do everything correct from the start" then you definantly don't want to go get a fat burner. What happens when you stop taking it if you're depending on it?

Well, I wouldn't be depending on it, it'd just be used to help my appetite and boost my energy levels. I would still be doing a defecit diet and lots of cardio, all the hard work needed.

I am only going to cut for about three weeks and then jump right back into muscle building...hopefully shaving off 6 pounds of fat.. that's my goal. That would bring my percentage of fat down to 5.5% So it's a lofty goal. According to the calipers with the trainer at college doing the pinching I have 9.6% fat, or 15 pounds fat and 142 pounds of lean mass. I've gained a good three pounds since the last time we took the measurments though... going to do it again Thursday.

The reason I lose all my energy when cutting is the calorie defecit, so once I start eating a nice surplus (like I do while bulking) I have all my energy back.

So I want a fatburner to help increase my energy levels, and help boost the fat burning along. I only want to do this for a short time period because in my experiences long cutting sessions don't work well for me... plus my main goal is to be building muscle right now, I just want to burn off the extra fat that I have gained, really quickly. So far i've gained 1.8 pounds of fat in a month.

I don't want to create any new fat cells, I know fat cells can never dissapear (only shrink) so I think it's best to cut off this extra fat before I start gaining new fat cells... then jump right back into muscle building. I plan to do this for a very long time... this routine I mean.

Well firstly you dont gain new fat cells.

A pill that provides energy? the only energy our bodies can utilise is carbs, fat & protein.
the pill would have to contain at least one, so you then may as well eat food instead would you not?

An over the counter fat burner "isn't" going to "magically" boost your fat loss--even within a deficit calorie diet. I dont care what anyone says. I have deficited diet for rather long periods, and can honestly say without any hesitation, I never lost energy levels. Let me repeat that: NEVER lost energy levels. In addition, one doesnt need a so called fat burner the last few "pounds" of fat tissue loss, this is complete and utter hog wash.

Straight Deficit diet + Exercise = fat loss

Deficit Diet (possible calorie manipulations) + (possible nutrient manipulations) + (exercise change/manipulations) = dealing with tissue loss complications.

That's not what I have read about fat cells... where do you come up with your information????

Chillen: You have never had a decrease in energy levels, your a master at cutting, etc. etc., great for you!

I on the other hand, always have very low energy levels while cutting and I am looking for some kind of help with that.

You have never tried any diet pills, so you have no idea if it will give me extra energy. I have talked to a lot of people that say that certain diet pills do increase energy.

Of course if you are taking stimulants they will increase energy.. go take some ephedra and tell me you can't feel anything..

Plus... I am also looking for a way to supress my appetite. Hoodia has been proven to do that.

they do not increase energy. Its is a drug that as you put it nicely - gives you a "feeling". That doesnt mean its giving you energy. Its a drug.

Your either misrepresenting the word energy or mistakenly believe that pills such as your example have a secret new energy source in them that formulates the synthesis of ATP.

Ephedra is no longer available (in U.S.) because it had caused "some persons" some MAJOR health issues.....lets get this one straight. And, if I would have decided to take this at the time it was available, I could have "possibly" been one of those statistics.

I have read on alot of this stuff, and I am not niave to it. I just believe their is a normal dietary and/or exercise answer to your problem.

Im not at all ashamed that I do not know the effects of "so called" fat burners, but I do know the effects of the all powerful, all knowing, and ultimate fat burner: The deficit diet v exercise ratio.

I just have a difficult time in believing that if I took a fat burner, and cutting from 10 to 8 percent body fat, and keeping things equal in my diet and exercise, that "popping" an over the counter fat burner is going to make make me leaner faster or leaner that I had become. Buh hum bug.......He, he ;)

Even persons getting their stomachs tied, meet the laws of energy balance if one thinks about it.

I wish you the best,

Chillen

chillen has it right. Most other options or possibilties have no effect at all, or at least very miniscule. That includes drugs, fancy diets etc.

Exactly.

I'm also always puzzled when people consider so many of these caffeine based drinks ( i.e Red Bull ) to be ' energy ' drinks.

In my view - notwithstanding any carbs these sorts of drinks ( i.e Red Bull ) may actually have - I view them more as ' stimulant drinks '

Yeah, true..

Whether it be real energy or not, i'm looking for something that will pick my ass up so i'm not slugging around everywhere. When I go into a cut my body jumps right into a starvation mode and tries to conserve every bit of energy it gets.

Well... let's say I forget the supplements, what do you think of my plan otherwise everyone?

funny i always thought about that too..

But thats not to say it cant play a beneficial role if needed to be..i dont know maybe it could help if your feeling lethargic by making you feel more awake and active.

so, other than the supplements what does everyone think of my plan?
