This is not a realistic rate of loss, around 1 kg (2 lb) a week is an achievable goal.

Diet pills tend to be rubbish - and often downright dangerous - I suggest that you read this article

1% of weight per week tends to be a healthy rate of fat loss.

Programs which boast more weight loss are not really healthy - because if you think about it - when you get onto the scales you weigh a lot more than the fat content of your body.

You weigh the fat in your body but also things like the lean muscle tissue, any water that you might be retaining and also things like the food and drink that are in your system.

When you start to diet you maybe exercise portion control for the first time so there is a reduction of food weight in your body.
Eating sodium within your food plan causes you to retain water - reducing sodium content of food reduces water retention.
Drinking more water also has the impact of reducing water retention.

Any kind of diet can have a boost at the start because of the above.

Programs which boast a larger weight loss tend to do so by you losing lean muscle... Muscle lost is not just then ones that you see on body builders which you may be prepared to lose... The heart is a muscle and you can end up weakening your heart.

You say that you want to lose body fat. That is good. Do not assume that programs that give a 20 pound loss in a month are losing 20 pounds of body fat. Lose it in a healthy way - no-one here is going to say that you should not work hard and reduce your BMI down to the lower end of the healthy range. All we are saying is that it will likely take longer than 3-4 weeks.

Hey Lag! That is a really cool post, bro!

But it is still garbage.

It is never worth talking to spammers... We get tons of them. We delete their rubbish off here... I've deleted Lag's post.

Click on the little triangle with an "!" in that is in the footer of the post - and all the mods get alerted... One of us can then dive in and delete the rubbish...

HI AJ,
The best way to loss weight fast is by following proper food diet, and exercise.

For your reference: meal plans

Your meals should include Natural foods like fruits, vegetables, whole grain breads and pastas.

Eat egg whites, fish, protein shakes and lean poultry to gain proteins, which helps your muscles to become stronger.

Eat non-starchy vegetables like peppers, celery, lettuce and tomatoes.

Have nuts, avocados, olive oil and seeds.

Use Hcg Diet drops for easy weight loss.

Hi AJ. Welcome to Cali! I would first suggest that you review your dietary and calorie needs before starting a regimen. You want to be sure that you are consuming and burning the appropriate calories to lose the weight. Although as mentioned by others, 1-2 pounds per week is the most healthy weight loss. 3500 calories equals 1 pound. If you have a deficit of this amount you will lose 1 pound. The rest is simple math. So first start with your calorie intake needs by using a calorie calculator, factor in exercise, and be sure to have a deficit of 3500 calories for each pound you would like to lose, but remember 1-2 pounds is the most healthiest.

You could lose 15 pounds in a month, but that would be very unhealthy so you might want to rethink this. Also, keep in mind that you have to revisit your caloric needs as you continue to lose weight because the need less calories the lighter you are. Some people do not revisit this which contributes to the plateau effect, among other reasons. If you keep the same caloric intake at 150 pounds as you had at 220, you will see less results. Just a tip :)

Good luck!

Hello Guys! thank you for all the help! its helped me in a great way! i was doing P90X and lost a good 8 pounds! also, i dont know if any of you know anything about food allergies, but i think im allergic to avocados, every time i eat them, my throat itches.. Could that attribute to weight gain too? Maybe the body goes into some type of defense when i eat them and holds on to fat.. does anyone know anything about that? Thank you :)

You were in a healthy weight to begin with but i understand you just want to get toned. Congrats on losing 8 pounds!

I would consult a doctor about the avocado thing, That's what happened to me and strawberries, I ate them my whole life and one day they started making my throat itch. turns out I developed an allergy to them, which can get worse if you continue to consume them. :) How is the weight loss going? Congrats on the 8lbs loss!

An excellent way to lose weight is to rely on raw fruits and vegetables. Dairy beverages should be replaced with green tea, lemon tea or lemonade. This is one of the best ways to lose some real weight.

The best way to lose weight is to eat less calories than you burn in a day. There is no need for raw fruits or vegetables, unless it is because of personal taste. And there is no reason to replace all dairy beverages - stuff like that is actually healthy. Especially not if you want to replace it with sugary lemonade.

Our body weight is identified by the quantity of power that we take in as meals and the quantity of power we spend in the actions of our day. Energy is calculated in calorie consumption. If your body weight remains constant, you are probably getting in the same quantity of calorie consumption that you get rid of each day.

Hi there,
I don't know if you still interesting to lose your fat, but I think you shouldnt make it go too fast, because too fast will not good for your health actually! I got something to share with you...
I think first you should start making a plan, daily and be patience. And don't forget make your emotionally involved---think positive! I think we should start from easy to increasingly difficult.
I don't have any plan for you right here, because to make a plan for you to follow, I need to know your body type because we're all different, this may work for me, but doesnt mean will work for you as well. Right now I don't so...I think this may help....
Tips you can apply easily!
make enough rest
For eatting:
Only eat when you really hungry, breakfast like a KING, eat at your dining table, focus on fiber foods, forget fast food, , eat foods that are low in calorie, eat slower, go for organic, enjoy the food you loved....(in moderation, when you eat small of your favorite foods, you wouldnt feel that your diet is too difficult to keep up with).....
Drink:
Do not drink a lot of water or other drinks with a MEAL. Avoid soda drinks. drink COLD water, drink a glass of wine each day.......
And again, this is for your daily fat loss, will not help you to lose your weight too fast like you asked! But whenever you do something, pull your emotion involved - enjoy it and you will make it!
Take care,
Joseph.

This weight loss tips helped me a lot :D
1. Don’t skip breakfast
Research shows that eating breakfast helps you control your weight. Some people skip breakfast as they think it will help them loose weight but missing meals doesn’t help us lose weight and isn’t good for us because we can miss out on essential nutrients. It could also encourage us to snack more throughout the day because you feel hungry’.*

2. Eat regular meals
Some people think missing meals will help them lose weight, but it has been shown that eating regularly during the day helps to burn calories at a faster rate as well as reduce the temptation to snack on foods high in fat and sugar.*

3. Eat plenty of fruit and veg
Fruit and veg are low in calories and fat and high in fibre – three essential ingredients for successful weight loss. They also contain plenty of vitamins and minerals..

4. Get more active
Studies show that regular activity is key to losing weight and keeping it off. As well as providing numerous health benefits, exercise can help burn off the excess calories you can't cut through diet alone.*

5. Drink plenty of water
People sometimes confuse thirst with hunger. You can end up consuming extra calories when a glass of water is really what you need. You should aim to drink about six to eight glasses (1.2 litres) of fluid, preferably water, every day – or more if it’s warm or you’re exercising.

6. Eat high-fibre foods
Foods containing lots of fibre will keep you feeling full for longer, which is perfect for losing weight. Fibre is only found in food from plants, such as fruit and veg, oats, wholegrain bread, brown rice and pasta, beans, peas and lentils.

7. Read food labels
Knowing how to read food labels can help you choose healthier options, and keep a check on the amount of calories, fat, salt and sugars you eat. Use the calorie information to work out how a particular food fits into your daily calorie allowance on the weight loss plan.

8. Use a smaller plate
Studies show that people who use smaller plates tend to eat smaller portions and still be satisfied. By eating with smaller plates and bowls, you may be able to gradually get used to eating smaller portions without going hungry. It takes about 20 minutes for the stomach to tell the brain it’s full, so eat slowly and stop eating before you feel full.

9. Don’t ban foods
Don’t ban any foods from your weight loss plan, especially the ones you like. Banning foods will only make you crave them more. There’s no reason you can’t enjoy the occasional treat as long as you stay within your daily calorie allowance.

10. Don't stock junk food
To avoid temptation, avoid stocking junk food, such as chocolate, biscuits, crisps and sweet fizzy drinks, at home. Instead, stock up on healthy snacks, such as fruit, unsalted rice cakes, oat cakes, unsalted or unsweetened popcorn and fruit juice.

11. Cut down on alcohol
Did you know a standard glass of wine can contain as many calories as a piece of chocolate, and a pint of lager has about the same calorie count as a packet of crisps? Over time, drinking too much can easily contribute to weight gain.*

12. Plan your meals
Plan your breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks for the week, making sure you stick to your calorie allowance. Try to plan for four to seven days’ worth of meals and snacks. Make a shopping list, but don’t shop when you’re hungry as that can lead to high-calorie impulse buys!

I am into green smoothies and have been drinking it for some time. I LOVE the results. I've noticed that I lose some weight and I have so much energy that I'm up late and up early. Maybe you can also try this one..:D
