i need help...

Hi zebras,
My trainer at the gym asked me to do 10 minutes of a cardio workout, then work on weights *the circuit* then cardio after. (for me that is one mile on the tredmill at a brisk walk).. Im sure there are different oppinions though. So far this works pretty good for me.

If at all possible, I would seperate you cardio days from strength training days. It is fine to do s slight warm up on the bike or treadmill before hitting the weights, but I would suggest doing a full blown cardio session on a different day. If you must do them on the same day and cannot seperate them into morning/evening workouts, then do your cardio after the weight training.
 
Personally, like Falco, I separate cardio days and strength training days. Thats what I believe (at the moment) to be best for me, but there are as many theories as there are workouts, so do whatever that you believe works for you. I have seen lengthy threads on other boards over the question - cardio or weights first, and my opinion is that its really up to what you believe works for you.
