Sport I need help with nutrition

Sport Fitness
I work as a cook 8 1/2 hours a day no breaks, and I dont really sit down and eat while I work.

I've been feeling tired for the past 2 months, I think I've been living off of 6 to 7 hours sleep for a bit. I dont really eat when I get home at night. I dont feel like it.
when I wake up at 11 , I eat cereal cause I dont feel like eating something heavy.

so I dont really know what would be the best food to make me feel more healtier and have more energy. I eat an apple and orange a day,, but still low energy and tired.

a friend gave me those chocolate milk nutrient drinks...started making think I should look more into those drinks... I like milk and wouldn't mind adding the nutrient powder stuff to give me some energy... which I really need.

stuff I wont take is energy drinks ,, I think they are bad for you.
and that bodybuilding powder stuff.

what would be a good product to add to milk....

Do some research into Paleolithic diets, it could really help you out.

It doesn't sound like you're eating a great deal - could you take some nuts, seeds and a little dried fruit into work with you to snack on?

agreed, ideally you should eat 5 small meals a day. this will keep your metabolism up and thus give you more energy.

and that bodybuilding powder stuff is pretty much what you are looking for, i like the cookies and cream muscle milk. tastes great, filling, but it has alot of extra stuff in it(carbs and cals) im ok with it though.

i know it may be hard, but even if you could find time to excercise 2 times a week. excercising releases endorphins into your body. endorphins ar little"feel Good" hormones.

I do walk alot, but thats from and to work, I should go for walks on my day off, just to enjoy the air and get away from things..

I find it hard to eat large heavy meals these days.. cause I sleep and wake up at different times, some weeks. thats why I was thinking of those add powder to your milk sorta stuff....

I just wish I knew the sorta foods that works well for my body, and then grocery shopping list would always be the same.

like I know I probably lack some sort of nurtient.. I know the multi vitamins dont work for me,, I did a whole bottle and I didnt feel a difference.

I'm going to look into a diet , and shop for nutrient powder....

what would be a good nutrient powder brand
I live in canada

thanks

good on the walking

bad on the large heavy meals- 5 satisfying meals is the best way to go. you dont need 3 large meals a day. eat smaller meals and have a snack between breakfast and lunch, another between lunch and dinner.

snacks can b a granola bar and an apple. nutritious and satisfying.

i like Muscle Milk brand especially if you are looking more for a meal replacement. the cookies and cream flavor is my favorite and its the best tasting ive ever had.

Milo mixed with milk is a good source of energy and supplies all the nutrient you need. Eat low GI foods before you go to work like pasta this will let you body gradually release the energy you ate slowly into you system. You should look up low GI foods and eat them before work. This will help you keep energy within those hours of work.
I understand how hard it is to be a cook because my mom was once a cook. Tony D

The guy clearly has some major blood sugar fluctuations so I'm not sure recommending powdered sugar and starch is great advice.

Eat unprocessed foods.

He was asking what would be a good product to add with milk, i said Milo. This is a good product since it supplies energy for his body with other nutrients he needs. Right now i don't think blood sugar levels matter since he is hardly eating nothing. All the sugar he will be eating will be used anyways.

Nuts and seeds to snack on isn't going to help him stop feeling fatigued. He said he can't eat during work that's why i also recommended low GI foods so he has energy that gets released slowly into his blood for him to stop feeling fatigued.

Nothing i have said is bad advice and is only going to help him to stop feeling fatigued.

So you believed the picture of people playing sport on the Milo tin?

I believe that having the wrong information on the nutrition sticker is illegal. So it definitely has protein and carbs and that's what he needs. There is no fact that Milo doesn't supply energy.
