Hey, I'm new to this site, and I'm sick of sitting around and doing nothing with my body. As of last year I was in shape, but I was playing hockey competitively three times a week, and on the ice another three times training with my schools hockey programme. Well, this year I quit playing hockey to focus on my studies, and to pick up a part-time job so I'd have some spending money, well unfortunately this has taken a toll on my body, I was around 5'9 and 175 pounds at around June last year, and I've grown to 5'10 and skyrocketed to around 205 pounds.
What I need is a work-out plan, I've recently moved to a new developed area in my city which has plenty of bike trails, and routes that I could go for jogs on, but I lack the necessary motivation to do so. I have a treadmill at home, but I can't get past the fact that I want to lose weight, but I don't have the drive to do it. Every day, I think, " Hey, I want to lose the weight, and I'm gunna do it! " but it never happens. As of last week I've decided, and for good this time that I'm actually going to try it out, I'm sick of being a loaf and I want to look good for this summer, as my graduation year is upcoming.
Now, I'm not fat by any means I am chubby, I have retained some muscle from my hockey endeavors but I'm packing on the pounds, and I'm starting to get a belly, and my clothes are becoming increasingly tighter.
So basically I need to know what I need to do to lose the weight, and gain the muscle. If you guys could point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.
