im 19 ,240 lbs , and 6 feet. ive been hitting the gym daily, sometimes twice a day. I use the bike for my primary cardio (30mins) because my flat feet make it very hard to run on the treadmill plus i lose breath very easy. i also play basketball for about 30 min (stop and go) and hit the the weights here and there just to tone.plus i work as a clerks helper at a grocery store (push carts, basically moving all day) i am having trouble understanding the calories in/out ratio. an app on my feet tells me to lose 30 pounds, 2 lbs a week by the mid november with my size height and age i should take it 2100 calories. so does that mean that i need to lose 2600 to lose 1-2 lbs in a week?

I'm not quite sure what you're asking, as I'm not sure what you mean by "need to lose 2600"...

If you've put all of your information into the app correctly, and that it's saying you need to eat 2100 calories per day to LOSE weight, then it should be creating a caloric deficit for you each day in order to lose weight.

In theory, to lose 1 lb in a week, you would have to create a 500 calorie per day deficit under your WEIGHT MAINTENANCE level (3500 calories roughly equals 1 lb).

In the app that you're using, can you figure out how many calories per day you would need to consume just to maintain your weight? Also, what do you put in for how active you are? Lightly active, moderately active...
