Hi I'm an 18 year old male and recently graduated high school. I want to enlist in either the Air Force or Navy but I don't think I'm physically ready for basic training. That being said I'm not fat or over weight but I want to change my eating habits as I eat a bunch of unhealthy foods and drink soda. I'm 5'7'' and about 121 pounds. Basically what I want to accomplish before enlisting is to lose the fat I carry on my stomach, thighs, and buttocks(thats where my body seems to store fat). I have a weight bench I can use but I can't motivate my self as I don't have the energy because of the junk my parents make me eat. That's right I said "make"! You see I have asked about eating right as I'm tired of not having any energy or motivation to do anything physical but they just get ****ed off and say that I'm not fat and that in return ****es me off as they don't know how I feel. They give me grief about how I don't do anything around the house but the truth is I honestly don't have the energy. Anyways I here hoping to find help to convince my parents to let me "diet". I plan on exercising as soon as I gain some energy and feel good. I know the saying "you are what you eat" has truth to it because I eat "junk" and in return I feel like "junk". Thanks a lot for reading! Does anyone know of a cheap diet that could help me? I need help convincing my parents to allow me to eat differently. Thanks
