Hi. I am 16 years old and i weight 125 kg or 275 pounds.
At breakfast i usually have cereals (simple ones no flavour)
Between breakfast and lunch i have a sandwich.
I recently started to eat a little bit healthier at lunch by reducing lunch with my friends (in a not so healthy spot) to 1 time per week
In the middle of the afternoon i eat 2 toasts and drink milk
Dinner I have a steak or fish with rice, pasta, potatoes. (my mum cooks dinner)

I want/need to loose some weight and I've been tryin... I just think that a meal plan could help.
Thank you and Good Night.

hi welcome..im also new here..but i have been dieting and working out almost all my life..its easier to lose weight when you are in your teens..
ill just suggest you decrease the quantity of food you take by 25%..and skip the rice, potatoes and pastas altogether..
if you can workout at a fast pace, you can join me for a 30 or 60 day bodyshred challenge..im following Jillian Michael, the fitness trainer,'s exercise and meal plan..started today..let me post the link to that thread here,,ill try to share her meal plan with you

I agree with cutting pout the rice and potatoes. Starch, carbs, sugars, and dairy is your enemy. The sugars in cereal for breakfast is killing you, soon after the sugars burn off you will be hungry again. I went totally gluten and dairy free at the beginning of the year and it was like detoxing from a harsh drug. Irritable, painful, and a general ass to be around. There is no easy way to do it. Just like quitting smoking, you just have to decide you want to and do it. The unfortunate thing is that in today's society you can not go out to eat anywhere without getting food that is sugar laden. Corn syrup is in everything, and don't make the mistake of accepting aspartame I'm place of sugar. It's just as bad.

I would suggest intermittent fasting. Not eating at all for around the first 5-6hours after rising(using coffee as an appetite suppressant and drinking water helps a lot), then having a piece of fruit or two. The last meal of the day can then be a reasonably large enjoyable dish like pasta or a roast chicken, somethings enjoyable maybe even chocolate aswell as long as the meal is around 2000cals total (not salad).
This I find is a very enjoyable way to lose weight and I do this all the time.
Losing weight is just about calories in-calories out you don't have to eat vegetables though it makes dieting easier as you don't get cravings as much and there filling.

I agree with what everyone has said. And a simple thing you could do is to reduce your portion sizes at meals and snacks. This way your body will get use to the change slowly which in the long term with make your weight loss easy to maintain.

It will take a bit of will power to get use to smaller serving but do it consistently for a month and then it will be your new normal.

Good luck!

Hi - I've definitely been where you are, and think I can help!

It sounds like you eat a lot of starch and sugar during the day - bread, grainy cereal, sugary milk. You might have to change the context of what you eat. As somebody who's lost close to 100 lbs from his heaviest to where he is now as a successful weight loss coach, I can tell you that the two things that should comprise your diet are meat and non-starchy vegetables.

MINIMIZE starch intake to only a few times per week. Starch includes pasta, rice, bread, potatoes, beans and corn.

If you can remember the sentence 'Eat (organic) meats, vegetables, (raw) nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no (added) sugar,' you'll be good to go!

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.
