I need a kick in the butt

I'm 34, and just had a baby almost 7 months ago, my weight has sky rocketed to about 326 pounds. (not that I was a twig before, I was around 289). I went on Medifast once before and got down to about 249 and something inside me started freaking out about the weight loss and I gained it all back, then got pregnant and gained even more. I work at a desk all day, at home I am too tired to move from lack of sleep with a baby and I just want to drink a Mt. Dew and watch TV. :nopity: i am pathetic.

I have a Wii fit Plus, Biggest loser for the Wii - both still have plastic on the packages. I keep looking for an online buddy to help me through the daily struggles, but no one seems to be dedicated, much like myself. I want to be able to play with my son and not need to reinflate my lungs afterward...

Someone KICK ME please!

Welcome zcm.

My first suggestion to you would be to sign up with one of the free sites like fitday.com or thedailyplate.com and start logging in the food you eat. That way you'll be able to see quickly how much you're eating, what kind of food, and where you can/should cut back or change to healthier options.

Also, do think about starting a diary here where you can come post daily. For a lot of people having a diary makes them accountable to their readers and that way you think twice about that Mtn Dew. :)

Also be sure and read the sticky posts in all the forums. There's a lot of good information there on nutrition and exercise that will help you to get started.

Yeah, starting a diary could really help. Then when you disappear people can start asking where you are, and are you keeping on track with your plan.

Unwrap that Wii Fit Plus! What good does it do in the package? ;) Plus you can weigh your new baby with it :D

You start daily light training exercises that can help you to reduce your weight.
You can also hire a trainer who can take care of your diet for few months.
I think you wiill surely have control on your weight if you follow strict schedule.
