I must be doing something wrong

Well everyday around 3pm i get SUPER hungry, and i think i know why.
I get up and a hour after i get up i'll have breakfast, today i had a whole wheat bagel with light butter and i had bunch of water with that.
Yesterday morning i had a bowl of cereal around 10 and then at 12 i had like 2 eggs and a slice of white bread. And i get hungry around 3, always. Right now im dieing to eat something but dinner wont be until like 4 or 5 :(
I don't have any fruit left because "A SOMEBODY" :mad: took my grapefruit and peaches to work. I would usualy have a fruit or water to make the feeling go away but now that doesn't work. I'll catch myself staring inside the fridge then i'd smack it shut because i remind myself that i can't eat the junk that's in there. Ughhh what to dooooooo....and now i have a headache..great!
 
The best thing to do is to come on the forum and write it all down;) :D
Well, at least you knowledge that you are hungry and you got the right intenssions by eating fruits. Just make sure you always have fruits,veggies,jello's, low cal stuff in or out of your fridge. Or Drink alot of WATER with lemon.

Just stay Positive and don't give up on yourself. Have a GREAT day and drink your WATER:D

I know and i usually do but i get so scared that even fruit are gonna keep me fat..and im mostly scared that if i have a snack that's not a fruit or veggie i'll lose ALL control..

I'm starting to get sick of the water too:rolleyes: I'm good until suppertime, and then I start to feel waterlogged.
 
When I first began my diet I felt real hungry all the time and felt I was starving myself. Now I eat much less even then that time and I never feel hungry because I guess my body has adapted to the low calories and less food. I also got headachs when I gave up soda but I stopped getting those long ago.

Just fight through the pain and have some crackers, fruits, or healthy cereal if your hungry. Your body is going to fight with you for junk food since you are just starting your life change so get ready for that. I remember when I first began I would get random headachs and feel hungry all the time even though I was eating 1500 calories a day.

Also you wont get fat as long as you keep count of the calories you consume. Try to eat 1200 to 1500 calories a day.
 
Miss lovely you're doing fine... are you using a food journal to keep track of what you are eating? As long as youknow where you are during the course of a day in your calorie consumption.. and you plan ahead alittle.. you can easily fit,and should fit snacking into you schedule...
 
Thank you guys so much, that has helped me to stop myself from attacking the fridge. Honestly i think i should keep a journal or write on here how many calories i eat a day to keep me organized. I don't do none of that but with the portions i eat i figure that i hardly eat over 1300 cals a day. I don't take like a handful of chips..but ill eat healthy i'll have like a banana and a grapefruit and figure in my head that , that all is about 80cals, maybe im wrong since i know that bananas are high in calories. But anyway im Def going to write down how many calories i consume on a daily basis.
I just took some taylenol to help the REALLY bad headache, so hopefully i'll be feeling better so i can hit the gym around 6, i wouldn't want to miss it for the world since today i get weighed :D after 12 long days of this.

Check out fitday.com, I was surprised how much I could actually eat and still be under on my calories. sometimes you just think you are eating much.
 
bananas are a little high in calories, but they're high in postassium as well which is good for you and are good for a myriad of things... and they are also dense - for lack of a better word, so they will keep you full longer.

and alexia's right, do use a food journal - and be totally honest with it -no one will see it but you... recording everything not only keeps you honest,. but it gives you a really clear idea of where your nutrients are coming from... and perhaps waht you need more of...

If you ever want to find the amount of calories in somthing, just type it in google.com

Like if I want to find the calories in a apple, I type in "calories in a apple" and it finds many pages witht he answers.

Believe it or not i actually do that too, i get really pissed you can say at my "stomach" for being hungry lol..
I will keep a journal from now on..im not giving up ... not now.
I bought some fat free yougurt yesterday 60 cals per 1/2..so i eat that when im craving sweets, that's my sweet for the day oh and yes ladies and gentleman it's BANANA lol so that's a good thing right there since i loveeeee bananas.
 
I Lost My First 10 Pounds :d

Well in 10 days i lost 10 pounds..and i lost 4 inches off of my lower abdomin, and about a inch or 2 from the rest of my body (waist, thighs, etc) :D If i keep going I'll def lose this weight by new yrs maybe even more, i'm soooo happy.
 
Your afternoon munchies is totally normal! I always get hungry around 3:00. The key is to eat foods that will work for you, like carrots, watermelon, cucumbers...all these foods help stimulate weight loss and you can eat a bunch of it!

Great job on the 10 pounds!
