Think back to when you last had it...
For instance did you get a card out of it during a phone call or on the computer... That tends to be the time that I get side-tracked and don't put it back in my bag where my purse belongs...
You'll find it. go and search for something else, that usually helps me. I don't find what I'm looking for, but I'll find what I was looking for earlier.
I can never find anything at night! It was the same thing with my cellphone last month. I'll put things on a shelf in a ridiculously obvious place, then it gets dark, and they just blend in.
Glad you found it! I'm always misplacing my phone that way. Thinking it's in the room but it's not, not in my pocket, not in the computer room. Eventually I find it or have someone call it for me. But doesn't work so well with a wallet.
