Sport I love hot chocolate and pickles

Sport Fitness
Yep, thats right lol. Hot chocolate is great when sitting in my desk at work, and pickles are great to munch on. But how good are they for me?

What worries me is the Sodium levels in both of them, and the carbs in the Hot chocolate. Do you guys maybe have any other solutions?

So now you know, the power and responsibility are all yours! Either limit or cut them as they are not so good for you- high sodium levels will not really help you out much.

Maybe have them as a treat? or try cut up raw veg, like carrot sticks? you could cover those in vinegar and they'd still have less sodium in them. May take a bit of self organisation but there wont be a massive difference in taste and texture and there are no more calories in raw veg compared with pickled veg.

For the hot choc. its not so terrible- your having just one a day yes? if your having more then one maybe try cutting down or switching to a lower calorie version if your weight is a concern, but it could be the sugar your craving, if your not eating enough to feel full or satisfy your hunger, your more likely to suffer from sugar highs and lows and so crave more and more sugar once you start. Make sure you eat a proper lunch which has enough protein and low GI complex carbs to keep hunger pangs further from you. But one hot chocolate a day is nothing terrible at all if thats your only vice!
