I used to weigh 275lbs of mostly body fat and now I weigh 175lbs of mostly lean muscle tissue( just a few more lbs to go) I thought losing 100lbs would put me in a place were I could help other people heavier then myself (or people who wanted to learn how to stop binge eating once and for all) if you are interested in more of what I have to say please just reply back.

well sure, we're interested! What did ya do to loose it?

hey

hey good job man. im just starting on my weight lose trek. like you were, i am currently 275lbs. So id love to hear how you went about it. Again, good job!:hurray:

Hi there thank you for replying back, the first thing that helped me lose the weight was I learnt that I had to eat every 3 hrs,I use to starve myself to try and lose weight but that didn't work because your just starving your body right losing fat with muscle so I started to read everything I came across fitness, rx fitness, her muscle, oxygen, awesome read I read a few books, put their ideas together and I eat very clean and I got rid of a chemical that is being added to our foods that turns off the hormone to our brains that lets us feel full I got rid of this chemical through reading labels and choosing not to eat or buy the foods with this chemical in it and my binges almost totally vanished(unless it is that time of the month for me I am a girl and I do get cravings) Please if you are interested in more of what I have to say you can email me at (removed) and I will be happy to give you more information.I am also helping another lady who weighs 265lbs lose weight she has lost 12lbs in for weeks.

Yes - I could pretty much guarantee to lose about 12 pounds in four weeks at that weight. It isnt much different to the 1% per week that most people here aim for as an acceptable level of weight loss.

So you have read a few books - does that in itself qualify you to describe yourself as a nutritionist in that part of USA? I notice that is how you describe yourself on your profile. Either you are glossing over the facts here or there - you are a professional in which case you did more than read a few books (but may be spamming / touting for business) or you are not.

Good luck in addressing the remainder of your own weight problem. You mention that you are still working on it in your earlier posting.

It isnt really safe to put your personal email address on the internet like that - you never know who may get in touch. That is why they always recommend that you do not do it...

BINGO! Thats what I was looking for...man, my spam radar is right on today! lol! Spamming is prohibited. "email me for more info" is spamming and will result in being banned from the forum. If you have any "tips" please feel free to post it publicly.

My radar was on right from the start too Korrie...

I suspect that one or two other posters thought that we werent particularly congratulatory about her weight loss but we both saw it coming...

lol, its the experience we have :)
