I have everything necessary to work out, but I lack a few areas

I don't have any determination, and when I do get it, I'm too tired, and it's late at night when I get pumped up. I wake up with a headache, feeling tired, and have no motivation. I quit my job at McDonald's to do this, and I don't start college for another month and a half, so I have all this free time. But I live in Arizona, it's too hot, 105 degrees F and higher outside.

I'm slowly trying to get myself to do it, but I just can't for some reason.

Ask yourself whether you want the people that you meet for the first time on your first day at college to see you looking probably worse than you do now - or better than you do now...

If you sit around for a month and a half - spend the days being lazy and probably a bit of mindless eating - you will probably end up looking worse than you do now...

If you get out and do something about it - you could look noticeably better...

You are an adult. You get to choose................

Yeah that's true... I've slowly been thinking, getting my head around my situation. I'm slowly getting better, preparing myself to start working out. I'll start college looking bad, but I'll workout through it.

I will have to take baby steps, I wanted an easy path, but there is no easy path. It will be tough and arduous, but I'm slowly preparing myself for it.

Stop thinking

I know exactly what you mean, but mine are all because of other reasons like, depression and i'm in agony due to a opperation and from being uber fit for 20years to not being able to jog more than 40 seconds! You're younge and I guess live in/near a desert, so lots of space and you can find a spot where there's no-one about, (I live in London, people EVERYWHERE!!!). So think of your-self lucky. It's all in your head, stop thinking about it and just get out. Go for a fast, long walk, do some skipping, go to the park and jump around on things, etc.
You've lost this weight, keep it off and switch off the tv and get your-self out and stop making excuses. There is no such thing as getting motivation, it doesn't just come to you unfortunately, you have to make a conscience effort to get it. I promise you something, once you get out and put in effort each day, your motivation will come to you cos you made it happen. If you don't want to get out during the day, put on some music and dance around moving about every part of your body, even if you feel silly, just get that body moving, not only will it help not to put on weight but it will make you happy and more positive. Also don't buy junk food, i.e chips, fried chicken, etc. keep apples and carrots in your fridge.
Don't waste the best time of your life by sitting on your butt, go and jump around. When you get older you won't ever think 'why did i do that i felt silly', you only ever regret 'why didn't i do that'.
I hope this has given you a push. Go and grab life, be it in the souring heat, wear a cap and shorts and drink lots of water and wear suncream, at least you won't be feeling hungry.
Good luck, and well done on your weight lose, and have a great and productive time at college, try everything that is available to you, don't let life pass you by....it goes quick from the sofa!
