I hate waiting between workouts!

I like working out. I don't even mind "watching" what I eat. What I hate though, is the wait time between workouts. I HATE IT!

So what do you do to kill the time? How do you handle it?

Play Tiger Woods 2005, World Championship Poker, NCAA Football 2005, Halo 2 on my Xbox, slapfight with the wife (she loves that, she used to beat up on me, like Id be walking through the kitchen and BAM, backhand to the gut. Now my guts more solid and it hurts her hand :p) Wrestle with the kids, or spar with my son (he's training Shotokan with me). I also enjoy heavy bag work.

I jump on my pc, play some Knights of The Old Republic 2, or right now, some Nascar SimRacing online, woo.
but sometimes counterstrike source or call of duty united offensive every now and then.....
and talk with the gf about whatever

I work 6 days a week at a reastraunt, tue - fri, dinner's on thur, sat & sun. Besides that surf the net, Grand Turismo 4 :) :) :) :) & San Andreas and hanging out with my friends or spendin time with my GF. I also help my mom with dialysis she lost her kidney 3 years ago and we do it at home 5 days a week for 3 hours a day. I am in the process of being tested to give her my kindey then after that im going back to school

So most of you play video games. That's cool.

AEVENS410 - I used to train shotokan when I was in my teens. Good stuff!

I'm gonna keep this thread open for any of us that are bored and want to shoot the ****.

Well…..what about working different muscle groups on alternate days? That way you can work out every single day. And you can do cardio/aerobics every single day.

Sure! My workout already lets me workout every day but it's still not enough. I have even kicked up my cardio to twice a day.

Work, eat, sleep, stuff around the house, workout, workout, workout! I still get bored when I have downtime.

School work and frequent a few training boards (like this one).I spend about 6 hours each day doing classwork, much of which needs to be done on the computer.I find it breaks up the monotony if I take study breaks to surf a bit.I also play PS2 with my oldest boy, who usually beats me at most of the games we play.In addition, I use Pavel's grease the groove technique where you pick a certain exercise and do several sets throughout the day.I usually do pull-ups or squats. So before each meal, which is about every 3 hours, I'll go into our workout room and bang out a ladder of pull-ups or a pyramid of squats, then go fix something to eat.I too suffer from exercise withdrawl ;)

go to the beach and bask in the benefits of working out.. somewhere you can take off your shirt and not be told 'ur just showing off' lol

Play on the computer (my playground! *hugs internet*), draw, paint on PSP 7, surf on deviantArt, and...err..daydream. *nods* also I listen to music, and play music on my piano.

One thing I spend alot of time on is researching various things, especially physical fitness. What are some of the online resources you guys use?

This stinks. I really want to go weight lift, but I can't, seeing as this is my cardio day *whines* I didn't know how much I really adored lifting weights.

for researching stuff, I usually go here, or the weight loss 'sister forum' of this webby. I also like looking up stuff, like HIIT, and other cardio stuff so I make sure I do this right.

I just wish I could get into the gym right now, I came down with a nice head cold. Tissue curls aren't that effective of an exercise ;)

aww, hope you get better soon, Aevans :)
