Hi all,

I've been following this forum for sometime but I just never posted (or joined for that matter haha). Like many of you I'm on the quiet quest of losing weight.

I just found a great time saver/tip recently I thought I'd share. I know it's recommended you drink lots of water while dieting, so obviously I'm running to the toilet at work every day like a lunatic. I found that if I just use the toilet 3 floors above me I'll be climbing every time I need to go! I found out I would climb extra 15 floors of stairs a day by just doing this. And trust me you don't feel the work out pain because you're like busting for the toilet, no time to think about that haha.... For people who have very much seated jobs like me, I think this is a great way of putting in a little extra each day.

I found I'd lose a little extra per week by just adding this routine into my weight loss regime. I hope this helps! :hurray:

Edit: I promis I'll try post more often, even maybe add a ticker like the rest of you guys hehe...

That is a great tip. I am sure that it will benefit people.

I know that I always speed up when out walking to get to the nearest toilet when I want "to go". The rest of the time I do a comparitively leisurely pace outdoors compared to when I am on my treadmill! A little incentive always seems to help.

haha that's a good idea (just don't lose yourself before the toilet ;)) but yeah a good way for seated job to have a way to get physical in situations.
