Hi everybody,
Ok there's something that i don't understand. I try to watch what i eat ok, so in the morning i drink orange juice (100% not from concentrate) maybe 3 or 4 glasses and maybe a granola bar or two, then around noon i drink a diet coke with some gummy bears (real fruits ), and finally when i get home i eat a real meal like rice and meat ...nothing crazy like french fries and mc donald's.. and i did that for a week ok ?
I gain weight ..i don't understand ..can you gain weight eating healthy food ? I almost starve the whole day and when i eat , i'ts healthy food ..can somebody explain it to me ? Also you have to know that i can't sleep on an empty stomach so what is the solution ..?

you should eat more of healthy filling foods during the day to reset your metabolizm, starving puts it in istorage mode, drink more water too, this should help:p

In the mornings try drinking 1 glass of orange juice because although it is good for you, it also has alot of sugar which in turn means alot of empty calories! the granola bar is okay as long as it is whole grain with at least 3 grams of fiber, they still have alot of calories and can have alot of sodium as well, so you have to watch how many you have too. Alot of it is portion control, which I have problem with too!:)
try drinking alot more water instead of diet coke's because they still have caffiene(which dehrydrates), the gummy bears also have alot of sugar which are also empty calories:p
as far as going to bed on an empty stomach, they say you shouldn't eat 2-3 hours before you go to bed so your body can properly shut down at night, but if you want to eat something try a flavored yogurt and cottage cheese, the yogurt has enzymes that help digestion and are easier on your stomach to break down that late and the cottage cheese is actually a recommended snack if you wake up at nite hungry because of the protien!
I hope this helps a little! if you have any more questions just ask!:D
good luck;)

waouw ...thanks ...i'm sure it'll help me a lot even if it won't be easy to cut down on portions.
I decided not to weigh myself for a whole week just to avoid to be completely discouraged, it'll take at least a week for my body to get used to that new diet but i must confess that it's pretty hard not to give in and go to the fridge to make the haagen dazs disappear.
Anyways thanks for the support i truly appreciate guys..:)

no problem!:) I agree though my downfall is chocolate coverd pretzels.... if I have any in the house thier gone before I can even get them in the cupboard.
I weigh myself every friday, inthe mornings because then your body has had time to recoup over night and you havn't eaten yet! dont get discouraged, do some research on what food you like to eat so you know what is better for you! I find it really helps to know what I'm eating as far as calories, sugar, sodium ect....
you can do it!:D
