I saw another documentary about the fattest guy in the world in mexco, he weighed around 1300 lbs and and he was chosen to whether diet or go through surgery. He decided to do it the real way and diet. He would have a strict diet with exact portions of meat, veggies, carbs. For exercise he would turn on some music and just get his body moving and dance in his bed. Last I heard of him he already lost around 400lbs. Still a long way to go but the man has my respect for trying to change his life for the better.

As for this guy, I am happy for him too even though he got stapled( not sure if he did, der says though ). Hopefully he wont gain the weight back.

Deuel, who once weighed 1,072 pounds, was down to 370 in November. He guessed that he now weighs 425.

“I’m absolutely convinced the basic, overlying cause for morbid obesity is genetic,” Harris says. “There’s some nature, some nurture. But it’s like wanting to have blue eyes and having brown eyes. You can’t fight it. We desire food more, we get hungry quicker. ... Every gene in your body says, ’Feed me now.’ “

Wow. No respect for him then. Guess he'll just gain all the weight back huh and blame it on genetics.jeez if i still blamed it on genetics I'd still be a fatass.

HARISS PUT DOWN THE FKING TWINKIE and stop blaming genetics...

Yeah, now that's an idea. People in some countries don't have the money to be able to eat, here, we have people with "bad genetics"...

I saw that one. I really like his outlook. He just really seemed like a sweet natured person and was really trying hard.
