Hi, I am around 143cm tall and around 63kg. So I am overweight and really want to lose weight but i just can't seem to stick to dieting. I live with lots of siblings and because we all have different food we like to eat there is always good and ingredients in the fridge. I am a food lover and cooker and so whenever I feel angry or frustrated I cook random stuff to eat. This happens a lot of time whenever I tried to lose weight.
!!!!My goal is to lose weight and so I really need advice on how I can stick to my diet plan to lose weight.(want to lose 15-20kg in the next 4-5 months)!!!

Hi Amy,

So...it sounds like you love food...who doesn't? One obstacle that I see you are facing is the fact that there are so many different palates in your house. That can make it extremely difficult to not only adopt a "diet" (I call it a lifestyle) but to stick with it as well. It also sounds like you're an emotional eater as well. I can relate to that.

So...I have to confess a little something. I come from a long line of "big" people. The women in my family are very husky, and tend to be overweight. I refuse to be that way. I have done almost every diet that you can think of. You name it, I have probably tried it. So...with that being said. I want to share with you what has worked for me. February 2018...I made the decision to NO LONGER diet. I made a change in my LIFESTYLE. I started on the Keto(genic) Lifestyle. There are days when I have to actually take a step back and realize that it's okay that I have bacon and eggs for 3 meals a day if I want to. It's okay that I have a nice steak for dinner as well. If you're not sure what Keto is...you can google it. There are hundreds if not thousands of posts about Keto. You can of course always ask me. I am a coach, and love to help people overcome their battles with weight, and addictions with food. SO....with that in mind...why I am asking you about Keto is because I eat once per day...and stay full all day long. I drink either Bullet Proof Coffee or tea in the morning, followed by my ketones....then around 1 ish...I will eat the majority of my calories for the day. My meal usually consists of eggs, cheese, bacon or sausage, sour cream or guacamole, all of which are cooked in either butter or bacon fat. I will have a Keto friendly meal replacement in the evenings after my gym workout. This has worked for me. I have lost a total of 22 lbs in about 4 weeks. I also keep track of my Macros (Fat, Carbs, Protein) They are broken down as: 75% Fat/ 20% Protein/ 5% Carbs. Please let me know if you have any questions. I would love to share my tips and secrets on how I have been successful and WHY this has worked for me.

I am a coach

What are your qualifications ? please remember that it is against forum rules to promote your services on the forum outside of your personal profile.

With your current macros you are highly unlikely to be meeting your nutritional needs but hard to say for certain without actual grams rather than % values. Also bulletproof coffee and an consuming ketone supplements is not recommended. I see you have only been eating this way for a very short time so I am happy to give you pointers from my many years of Keto experience.

Thank you but I don't need advice from you. I'm not promoting ANYTHING to anyone, and there was nothing posted about any private services. If you actually read what was posted you will see it specifically says WHAT HAS WORKED FOR ME. My Macros are just that...MINE. Yours are yours. What works for you probably wont work for me. As far as BPC and Ketones...if you have actually read and studied the medical journals like I have...and know the doctors that I do...it is highly recommended to be Keto Adapted. Just because you have Coach behind your name doesn't make you an expert.

You are a new member promoting yourself as a coach, and as you want to share your "tips and secrets" with only a couple of months experience it is prudent to ask what your qualifications are, as a moderator of this forum it is expected I check out such claims.

Shouting and making assumptions about me is not smart, I happen to read a LOT of studies and my offer was just that an offer so calm down.

Oh, hi there, fellow stress-cooker!

I used to have a similar problem though I'd specifically bake when I was angry/stressed/upset/needed to think or just plain bored. I did 2 things to fix the ultimate issue of having to eat all the food I'd made:
1. I rewrote my cook book and cut all ingredients by half so that I'd make less food in the first place.
2. I started offering my baked goods to neighbours(and sometimes I'd tell my husband there's "cookies for dinner this week" if I'd had a particularly bad day). Every cookie/plate eaten by somebody else is a cookie/plate not eaten by me. So, offer to make food for everyone else. You still get to enjoy the act of cooking, you make people you (hopefully) love happy and you don't eat everything yourself.

Hi Amy,
It's great you are have a goal and made a decision.
Stick with it.
Don't apologise for the love of food... Keep us updated! I'm curious to see your progress

I have a love of food as well. I started doing timed nutrition back in January with certain foods at certain times of the day (Fruits, veggies, etc.) and I've lost 7 lbs and 23 inches. I did a workout program along with watching what I eat (but you can totally do it!!) I don't think there's a way to message someone individually on the forum, but if you need any advise please feel free to contact me or someone to talk to!
