So often on my journey to better myself physically, mentally, and spiritually I microscope the negative and can be so tough on myself. When discussing with a friend some of my self-defeating thoughts, he suggested making a gratitude box. The purpose is to put what I am grateful for and to change perspective and attitude.
I'm not too keen on the idea of a box in my house for gratitude notes, but thought this may be a good place for me to write something I am grateful for or have overcome. This will show how we are more alike than different and be a place to come to lift our spirits and motivation. By sharing experiences, strengths, and hopes we are able to encourage one another to continue on the journey of bettering ourselves.
The point of this thread is for myself and whoever cares to join to write notes of gratitude that WE can look back on. Thus building one another up!
