Hi, I am so pleased with myself as I have lost 84lbs! It has taken me about 7 months, but all I have been doing is cutting down my portions using a diet plate, I still eat everything and I still cook stuff how I fancy. The other day I had curry and chips (french fries). i have to admit though I am eating lots more fruit and veg. Comfort eating is my problem I can eat a ton of chocolate if I get upset, but what I tend to do now is plan ahead. i buy only the highest cocoa solid chocolate, and then break it into three small pieces and wrap it up in tin foil. I chuck it into the bottom of the freezer, so if I get desperate, i just pull out one small piece and and wait for it to defrost, this gives me time to think what I am doing before I eat it.
It's a good tip if you like chocolate. The other day I was very upset over something and had nothing n the fridge except healthy options - guess what I did - I pigged out on fresh poached salmon salad! I had to laugh at myself I really enjoyed it. Salmon is my favourite and my only admission of the cheat is that I had twice what I was allowed on my diet plate, but never mind.
