Hydroxycut

Centrum Performance is just a multi-vitamin and mineral tablet with a small amount of Ginseng and Ginko Biloba added. It is almost cetainly safe for anyone to take. The real question is, is it cost effective and is Hydroxycut safe and cost effective?

I heard that Hydroxycut is o.k now that its Ephedra Free. I just wanted to make sure that it would be ok to also take the multi-vitamins. Thanks for the input.

If you are looking to burn fat - try a big cup of coffee before your workout. That will probably do more for you than any OTC "diet" pill. I personally haven't had much luck with those things, but YMMV. Either way, getting enough nourishment (vitamins and minerals) and water is vital to loosing weight as well as being fit and healthy.

Thanks for the advice. To be honest I'm not a coffee drinker. Drinking lots of water is going to be very hard for me because I hate water; I prefer a large cup of Dr.Pepper. I drink lots of D.P. I'm starting my "diet" on Monday. Wish me LUCK!:)

You know, if you hate plain water you can try adding flavor to your water. Tange or Cyrstal Light. CL even makes a sugar-free, calorie-free powder mix. Sodas are terrible for you. Not only do they contain empty calories, but soda pop contains a chemical that prevents the uptake of calcium in your body - DOUBLE WHAMMY!!

Even the Diet version of popular carbonated beverages are bad for you courtesy of aspartame. I like Crystal light as there are a plethera of flavors available. In fact, just today I got Iced Tea, Lemonade, and Raspberry Lemonade! :D

Crystal Light is just as bad for you as diet soda, its just aspartmae with out the carbonation. Aspartame gets a bad wrap, but it really isn't that bad for you. It will give a mouse cancer when given a dose of a 100x normal human intake.

There really is no substitute for water. If you don't like water, try the high end bottled stuff first. I like it better then most soda's anyways.

Well, I've tried MANY "magical" diet pills and the only ones that worked contained that lovely ephedra substance. It's basically speed that made you hyper and run to the bathroom a lot. I lost 80 pounds and have gained a lot of that back. Pills won't help you lose weight forever. Especially the new ones on the market.. I've tried many like Trim Spa Ephedra Free, Zantrex EF.. all of that stuff and nothing worked. All that is in the formula is caffine, which is in tea and coffee anyway. So what I like to do .. since I hate water too.. is put a tea bag in a large caraffe of water and just drink it that way. I know I am not drinking pure water, but at least I am drinking some sort of healthy liquid. That crystal light stuff actually hinders weight loss since I hear that aspartame does bad stuff to your body.. so stay away from that. Lemon in water seems okay too. Also.. dieting without excersise is BAD.. you need to work out.. I do kickboxing a few times per week and I already have seen a difference in a few weeks time. If you don't want to work out, I guess you aren't that serious about losing weight.

just a note, there is a new soda out (well new to me since i just saw it on tv) not sure but it may be called diet rite? it has splenda in it instead of aspartame.

and miss beutyfiend? when u lost that 80 pounds, did you lose it over a short period of time? everything i have read (and experienced) is that if you lose the weight too quickly (more than 2 pounds a week) that its very likely u will gain back what you lost plus more!

i wont take ephedra, but i do drink coffee. the problem with these magical pills u mention is the fact that people dont use them WITH all the other stuff (exercise, water, etc) personally i dont think its so wrong to take one of these "supplemnts" short term just to get someone going in the right direction. i have lost 30 pounds in about 4 months which i hope was slow enough. i did take trimspa and am still taking it daily, but i have incorporated many changes in my life like an hour of cardio every single day. i also have replaced diet coke with tons of water and switched to skim milk and also take a multi vitamin called one a day weight smart. so in reality i dont see this as a diet anymore but a way of life i need to keep up til the day i die if i want to be healthy and look good.
