HS Graduation Gift

The jist.. A coworker is throwing a graduation party. She invited me and has been pretty adement about me showing up. The question is should I actually bring a gift? A card + money?

Really, I have no clue. I was going to bring some "beverages" but alot of her family will be there and I don't really know any of them.

Let me just say, this girl is pretty well off and obviously, just being friends I don't plan on spending alot.

Any ideas?

A nice card plus a gift card from a good department store would look better than plain money. It shows that you did put some time and thought into it while letting her decide what she wants to do with it.

Depends on how big the party is going to be. If its going to be less then 20 people, I would get a cake from publix ...eh...or of your prefeered retail (i love publix cakes though)

I would compare the party to a toned down version of that MTV show Sweet Sixteen. Lots of people, lots o' money.
