Hello all!... I'm new!

Hello everyone! I'm 28 years old and 231 lbs. I have been on my current diet for almost 3 weeks now. I'm basicly just watching what I eat and going to Curves 4 day's a week. I feel wonderful and have had more energy in the past 3 weeks then i have had in 9 years! I started out at 115 lbs then became pregnet with my daughter who is now 9. I suffered 3 tramatic events last year and my weight at my heaviest was 242. Also working in a doctors office where there was alway's food around from the Drug Reps. didn't help either. Three weeks ago I made the decision to go on a diet and now i'm 11 lbs. lighter!! My reasons for wanting to lose weight is to have more energy, and hopefully cure my depression. I've also have Infertility issues from my weight. I look forward to getting to know everyone!!

Hello there fellow Curves member!!!!....Isnt it just a wonderful place? It helped me lose 40 lbs and 32 inches!!!!....( watching what I ate also helped in the progress too..lol).....
Im glad you found this place...you will make alot of new friends here!!!!

Hey! Thanks for the Welcome! :D When I first started curves I wasn't even dieting and lost 5 lbs and 19 inches my first month. I was going every day and i think i got burnt out on it. This time i'm only going 3 day's a week and I really miss it on day's I dont go! :p I just started back 3 weeks ago so I will not weigh in until next weeks sometime. Are you in one of the challenge classes?
 
Are you talking about challange classes at curves?....No I'm not..are you?
I going to start up my weight watchers program again...( I have all the stuff I just will not be going to the meetings)
If you lost that many inches by not dieting....imagine how much your gonna lose by eating right!!!!
You can get burned out a little going everyday to curves......Thats why you need to incorporate an other type of exercise to do incase you you cant make it up there.
I am going to be in this forums weight loss challange starting Tuesday. Are you going to join up?....I plan on going to curves mon-fri....I may skip wed and go on saturdays..( To give my body a break)...I walk to the gym, its a total of 4.4 miles...so I get some more exercise there.
Okay...what you need to do now is start posting in your diary. Feel free to post in other members diarys if you like.....You will get as much support as you give around here.....so dont be shy!!! ;)
 
Hi! I agree with KC, get a diary started! We all like to check up on those diarys! Loosing 5 pds w/o dieting sounds like you must have really worked out! We are getting ready to start another weight loss club here, newbies vs oldies, you should sign up!
 
Hello! No, I'm not in the challenge classes. Everytime I go sign up they are all ready full! I'm on the waiting list that starts in Dec. I still dont know if i'll join or not I guess it depends on how I do on my own. I did sign up for the challenge group that was started by Mrsjellybelly I think! I have been going to curves on Mon,wed, and friday's and last week I managed to work in Thursday too! I never have time to go everyday so I started going 4 times around the circut and not 3.

Newbride- Is that a different challenge group then the one I signed up for? If so can you join two groups?

Ok... where i'm so new here I have looked everywhere trying to find out what this means..Incase I'm over looking it.. Can someone tell me?!

Is the challange classes at curves kinda like you have to follow a diet plan?...I have the curves book and it talks about calorie sensitive and carbohydrate sensitive diets....I dont join because for one I think it cost too much money, And number 2....If I am losing on my own....why bother?.....Everything they are gonna tell us we already REALLY know. Plus you can find the same "facts" and diet plans in their books or on the net. ( Personaly I think it a way for them to make extra money...lol)
Going around 4 times?...Wow!!!..How many machines do they have???.....They allow us to go around more than twice at my gym if there is not alot of members on the circuit at one time.
There is going to be only one challange on the forum....I posted in the "club"section about newbies versus oldies....
All those letters stand for.....Highest weight,...Starting weight ( from when you joined the forum the first time).....Current weight.....Goal weight.....and "Ultimate goal weight"
Okay chicky...now you need to move out of the newbie section and start posting on your diary....have a great day!!!!
