How To program Your Mind To Lose weight Whilst In Bed

My name is Gary Maddison and I am a hypnotherapist that specializes in helping people to lose weight. Over the next few weeks I am going to posting on this forum some really useful techniques that will help you to control your weight. These techniques are tried and tested from the many clients that I have helped over the years. So if you begin to apply them into your life you are sure to see some fabulous results.

The first technique that I am going to teach you is a method of programming your subconscious mind to lose weight whilst lying in bed. This process is really easy to do but if you have any problems then please leave a comment on this post or pm me and I will be more than happy to help.

Listed below is the process of the technique, follow the steps and you will be surprised at the changes that this creates.

1. When you are lying in bed, just before you go to sleep, with your eyes closed – say the following suggestion to yourself (quietly in your mind).

“Everyday in every way I am getting better and better”.

2. Once you have said the suggestion, make a mental movie inside your mind and imagine yourself in a situation as if you were getting better and better.

You could imagine yourself saying no to unhealthy foods, or stepping on the scales and noticing that you have reduced your weight. Think about the changes that you want to make in your life and create this as a mental image.

3. Once you have created this short mental image, repeat the process from step 1 another 9 times, either using the same mental image or a different one. If you fall asleep whilst doing this then it does not matter, you have still programmed your mind with the change you want.

The beauty about using this technique is that your mind does not know what is real or imagined. Even though you are only imagining yourself getting better and losing weight, your mind believes it to be happening.

This isn't something special. It's positive thinking. The dillusion is the idea that this alone will change your body. I'm all for positive thinking but it has to be matched with intelligent eating. Calories do not suddenly become moot because you think them away. No, you still have to do calories in vs calories out.

I really hope you realize that pushing your false medicine here isn't healthy for people here. People come here for support and information. We try to speak in terms of science, not magic.

Yes, go to bed thinking positive thoughts about yourself, it should be all the time, not just going to bed. This will help push you forward on your weight loss journey, you will still have to watch how much you eat.


EDIT: It would also feel more sincere if I didn't find 6 other copies of this exact same post on other weight loss websites.

It is true that you have to watch the calories that you take in but that alone is not the answer. If it was then there would be no need for this forum and nobody would have a weight problem. Granted this technique alone isn't going to change a persons eating habits but it is a start and over the next few weeks I am going to be posting more techniques which will help a person to gain control over their weight.

If weight loss was just calorie counting and avoiding certain foods then I would quite happily not leave any comments on this forum. However people do need techniques which will help them to feel like they do have control over food and which will change that part of the mind which makes losing weight difficult.

EDIT: I have posted a similair post on ezine articles (not the same as this) but i have not posted it onto any more forums

EDIT: I'm going to back off. I'm skeptical but you could have some good things to say..trying not to come off aggressive like usual when I talk to people like you here. I do question your use of the term 'method of programming your subconscious mind to lose weight whilst lying in bed.'.

I'm probably going to have some work to do over the next few weeks to change your mind but thats what i intend to do.



I don't want to come across as somebody that says my method is right and yours is wrong. I just want to give out some tips and if some people find them useful then fantastic.

You have now also forced me to get my writing cap on, so will now have to write another post before next week.

EDIT: I will make sure that this just isn't positive thinking. I am new to this forum writing, so will try to not try to push the title boundaries in future post. (So I am sorry for that).

There is no spam involved. I just have some knowledge to share which I know works. I am new to forums so please do say if fall out of line with your rules as I do just want to share some good information.
 
I would suggest then, if you're new to forums, that you take a moment to read the rules that are prominently linked in the "newcomers" section. Generally when people are new to something, they do that sort of thing.
 
I, for one, am looking forward to hearing what you have to say. I know a couple of people who have successfully lost weight using hypnosis .
 
well we are certainly not trying to keep you from sharing any info that may help someone else...we just want to make sure that you are aware of the rules of the forum as well. As long as you arn't pushing any websites, we'll get along just fine :)
