Sport How to prepare for a food binge....?

Sport Fitness
Hi all.

Just had 3/4 of a pizza for tea, i know i shouldnt but its a treat for a very good, solid week of diet and workout!

Anyway, tomorrow night we're going out for a family chinese (pre-mothers day) and i know that its hardly likely to be the healthiest thing i'll have eaten this week.

So whats the best way to minimise any bad effects? Anything that should be done before or after??? How about in the restaurant, anything to definitely avoid/go for???

thanks!

The best thing to eat in a place like that is fish and rice. So aim for those things. As far as what to do before and after...nothing. Don't change anythig, go back to normal diet. Maybe drink a little extra water to flush out afterwards but don't eat les before hand or afterwards. Just stay normal.

Meals out are always tricky so, I usually just leave my guilt at the restaraunt door, enjoy my meal and make sure I get my butt back in the gym the next day.

Maybe you could think of it as a treat in advance for next weeks clean diet and workouts?

Chinese is actually pretty healthy, if it's done properly. If you're going out Chinese is pretty much the best option, no need for guilt. Stay away from anything deepfried, like shrimp. Go for fried rice, veggies, and Chicken in wok.

Of course stay away from thick sauces and dressings but then if it's a quality Chinese restaurant they won't use any and you'll be fine.

I love chinese, ooh now I got myself hungry
