Hey all
Im meeting up with friends in Birmingham this weekend, from friday PM to sunday AM.
unfortunately this follows what has been my best eating week ever, ive really stuck to what i aimed to do and have noticed results in just a few days. obviously nothing major but i now know it was definately late night carbs causing the 'wobbly bum'.
Ive started carb cycling, so have had higher carbs on just upper weight training days, medium on lower/HIIT days on none on just cardio days or days off.
Firstly, i do not know how i managed to get through my lower/hiit days without pre-workout carbs - that will have to change, but i think it is the post WO nutrition that i need to worry about most as i workout and eat later at night.
So anyway, the weekend ahead is clearly going to be a 'cheat' but id like to minimise it as much as possible. i have a couple of bags of nuts/seeds ready, plus ill put some fruit in the car and keep a good size bottle of water ready. however, i know that im not going to be able to make my usual oatmeal and salads, and there will be a takeaway and a bacon sandwich at somepoint, plus some alcohol (although i am a lightweight so that means nothing too heavy).
any other tips for when you're out and about and reallly cannot stick to the normal routine?
thanks!
