How to Lose the Boobs?

Hey Guys,
I have a problem in that I'm 44. That's bad enough, but I have boobs. There's no medical reason for this (I've had it checked) - it's just that I'm lazy, eat too much and probably drink too much beer. I'm 6'4" and weigh 209 lb which I guess isn't bad. I cycle around 20 - 40 miles a day, and so my legs are in great shape, but I can't get rid of the boobs, and I have a flabby belly.

So I'm looking to buy a membership of a gym, and here's the question: do I train every day, or every other day?

From my searches on google, it seems that for "max results", I only really need to train every second day, but I don't want to build muscle, as my basic shape is where I want it to be. My aim is to tone up - FAST. That's all I want - firmness. I wanna be hard. Getting a sixpack is probably not gonna happen, but just having a flat stomach would be nice.

Every day, or every other day?
