How To increase my waist line???

Hi guys, I have just discovered this forum and was hoping that somebody here could help me. I am a very active guy who is 1.7 metres tall but i have the smallest waist imaginable. This 'little' problem have cause much inconvienience, particulary when i need to buy a nice pair of jeans and all the sizes are just too big. I do have quite a high metabolism so whenever I tried eating more than the norm there will be little effect. I hope somebody has a solution to this though I am quite pessimistic about it.

Anyway, the secret to gaining weight is this... EAT. I know it sounds pretty simple and all that, but if you want to put on some weight you need to eat more calories than you burn off. Now, I am going to assume that you would like to stay in good shape and not get all flabby. If this is the case, then you should probably add in some weight training as well. The downside is that more muscle will burn calories as well - so that means eating even more. See the recurring theme? Eat! Or you can have the last 15 pounds that I want to get rid of...
 
would realli love to get the 15 pounds from you but sadly thats not quite possible isn't it?

Im not quite worried about being flabby cause i would realli like to know how it feels to be flabby... I do quite alot of weight training a few years ago but since then i stop that although i still run... but thanks for the great advice, btw any good food you can recommend cause i'm not sure what you guys eat over here as i am from singapore...

Just eat things with good complex carbohydrates and lean protein. Lots and lots of protein. You might want to think into drinking protein shakes.

Just know that people are genitically disposed to a certain body type, so no matter how much you eat you might not be the biggest guy in the world. Dont worry about it too much. Be happy that it isnt the other way around where you cant lose the weight.

You can probably put on a few pounds though if you work at it.
 
Go get a 16oz steak and enjoy! Add a huge loaded baked potato with some fried okra and a couple of beers and you are set!

Or look at some gumbo over a bed of rice... I'm making myself hungry again...
 
kalrog, that is great advice but unfortunately steak in singapore is pretty expensive and i can't have it quite often...

i have been think of taking five meals a day but replacing 2 meals by taking weight gainers with high calories, do you think this will help? i do take protein shakes 2 years ago but i think there was soemthing wrong with my intake cause i only take them when i finish a work out... ( that was when i am into all these muscle building stuff... but not now).... which is more important for growing big? protein, or calories?
