I have been on my weight loss journey for more than 6 months now. During this time i've noticed that my face looks puffy sometimes. I can go to bed with my normal looking face and the next morning wake upp with a puffy face. It doesn't look like an allergic reaction it looks more like i've gained 10 pounds and it's really annoying. Sometimes my face goes back to normal after a few hours and sometimes it lasts for days.
I really can't find a reason for why this is happening. It can't be that i'm drinking too little water, intake too much sodium, too many carbs or a bad diet. It just randomly gets puffy sometimes. (i've also tried face massage, ice cube on and a coffemask.. did not work) I asked a nurse as well and she said she had no idea.
When i googled it i saw that there where other people who were undereating (i undereat to loose weight) and had the same problem. Some people said that for some reason the body stores water because you're eating too little and the only way to get rid of the problem is to eat more? I don't know what to believe really.
