In most forums you can edit posts, and I've seen people take their post, just delete it all, and write in its place "deleted" (or, if you just want to get rid of the pictures, "pictures removed"). I don't think there's anything stopping you from editing your own material. (But I don't think that extends to completely getting rid of the fact you've posted, or getting rid of other people's posts)
