Hi. I'd leave it a couple of years if I were you, maybe until you're 16 or 17 when your metabolism has slowed down and you can start to concentrate on intensive muscular exercises.

At the moment your muscles are still developing, and will be throughout adolescence up to about the age of 18 when you stop growing.

In the mean time just concentrate on keeping healthy. You can keep a good figure by taking exercise three times a week and a balanced diet -don't worry about the six pack yet!

At that age it is ok to start lifting. Just start with lighter weight, 12-15 reps. And stick with less complicated exersices, unless you have the help of a spotter/trainer.

Do you have access to a gym? What are your eating habits like? What does a normal day of eating look like?

I'd advise you to wait until you're 16 so your body is full developed, at least better so to start working on your muscles, especially if you want your abs to be big.

That is BS. You do not need to wait to start lifting. Just ask John Berardi or look at the studies that show it is not detremental, but may actually help strengthen bones.

We are not talking about lifting 4 or 5 days a week. I am talking 3 tops. And also full body workouts. No Upper/Lower days.

oh larrabee what do you mean by "lifting" and my eating habits? well i dont eat much i eat like 1 bowl of rice at like 12 and another at like 3 and like i eat dinner at around 8 =) mm and 12-15 reps ? with light weight? confused of what that means too

You NEED to be eating 5-8 meals a day to start. Also what are you doing around your workout for nutrition? Whey shakes?

Yes you don't want to start off heavy. I would stick with 12-15 reps, always making sure you are leaving 1 rep left in you at the end of the set.

yes, whey protein shakes.

STOP SAYING ABS.

Forget it!! you already have abs!!! You may have fat on them, but they are already there.

So what now? You must lower your bf% at your age and weight and height you do not want to cut fat. Instead put on some lean muscle.

oo i dont really have money to go buy shakes ..
how am i supposed to lose the body fat? go run around?
and its 12-15 reps right? does that mean like 12-15 crunches? or 12-15 times

ok, lets start over

You cant get protein shakes? No Problem.

You can do it with whole food too. Like Milk mixed with some yogurt and strawberries and blueberries after workout.

3x12 (3 sets of 12)

That means you do 12 repetitions and 3 sets of that.

So like 12 push ups. Got it?

You are going to lose the bf naturally as long as you eat right, diet is 90% of the battle, not running, not lifting, DIET!

Berardi also says low fat or fat free choco milk makes for good PWO nutrition. It's 1g protein per fluid oz of milk and the carbs from the sugars in the chocolate flavoring drive an insulin reponse.

You NEED to be eating 5-8 meals a day to start...

That is a bunch of baloney. You do not need to eat that much a day in order to put on weight. I normally eat 2 meals a day, and if I want to put on weight, I simply add a 3rd meal...and that is A LOT for me. If I eat anymore than 3 meals a day, I will gag on my food, and probably even throw up. That is taxing on the digestive system. Food takes 4-5 hours to digest, and to add more food on top of food that has already started digesting only 2hrs before causes digestive problems for the longrun....what ends up happening is the body gets confused because now instead of finishing the digestive process of the previous food, now it has to try to start digesting new food....this causes fermentation in the stomach. Any naturopath doctor will tell you this.

When I eat too much, it actually makes me LOSE weight rather than put it on. Why? Because when I mess up my digestive process, the body is not able to process the nutrients and allow you to put on pounds. You also have to enjoy your meal in order to properly assimilate the nutrients, and when you eat 6 meals a day, that's what you call "stress". Stress makes you lose weight, not put it on.

So once again, I think this idea is faulty that it is a requirement.
