How to control an elliptical trainer which has side to side movement?

After assembly, my elliptical trainer moves side to side when I use it. I have placed it in the basement which has a carpet floor and on top of exercise equipment mat. But still it has side to side movement.

Any suggestions to reduce the movement and make it steady?
